I have followed correct channels for claiming for delayed flight December 2008. The case has been denied citing extraordinary circumstances - we were delayed 24 hours - they say that a high lift cleaning vehicle damaged the door to the aircraft.
Is this argument viable and/or is it too late to claim??:mad:0 -

Read the FAQ's - you have 6 years to submit a court claim from the date of the delay so you need to get on with it. You have a (very) valid claim.0 -
Sorry to barge in ...but just curious which flight you were on ? As we also flew in Dec 08 and was delayed 24hrs as the flight was cancelled , we were either offered a seat on the Gatwick flight or put up in a hotel overnight to trsvel the following evening ............we claimed in November last year and they payed out in Dec without any problems ....., x0

Hi All, VS74 Orlando to Manchester 7th June 2013, pilot sickness so denied by Virgin, has anyone been to court yet, or enlisted a NWNF? Not sure I have the ability to do it myself when I read through the time and effort required, and I have had my 'take us to court then' reply from Virgin Customer Service. Thanks.0

When you advise NWNF, does anyone have any (good) experience with Bott & Co (Euclaim)?
As you might know, I've 2 cases with them. Its proving to be hard work chasing them all the time. No updates are fed unless you ask!0 -
Update:
Sent NBA one week ago for son.
Virgin just being a PITA for the sake of it. Mrs even rang them using the reference number given on her letter, which clearly states that virgin are paying out under the EU ruling. They knew he she was, said they would ring back blah blah blah. Obv never did.
Just shows how blatantly they will do nothing unless you take action.0 -
