maybe try a different browser, form works fine for me - you don't need any letters for the flight number...just the number

Doh, silly me.........Now I have finished it and it says you must add an expense and give a receipt, I don't have any expenses and didn't want to claim for them just the delayed flight, why am I making such hard work of this?

OH MY GOODNESS.......... got a reply within 3 mins saying they will pay me !! Thanks everyone, worth the hassle. I am sure it's more than we paid for the flight, how does that one work?
I feel quite guilty really as we even got a food voucher.........

Don't feel guilty. Guess there would have 120 people on your flight? I doubt more than 10-20% will get the compensation thats due to them.

Hello, had a flight from Bordeaux to London Gatwick cancelled on Friday 10th . (About 3 hours before flight was due to depart) The reason given was that due to weather issues at Gatwick, crew were in the wrong place.
I was told there were seats on a BA flight, departing at a similar time- but these had gone by the time the crew member contacted them for me.
I was rebooked on a flight to Luton the next afternoon, (Bit of a pain, as I needed to get back to Polegate in East Sussex) I was put up in a hotel, and given dinner and breakfast. So apart from the major pain of having to stay an extra night, arrange for someone to cover my on call on the 11th, and travel from Luton to Polegate- I live in Bexhill on Sea, I was looked after.
I have submitted a claim for the train ticket- £48 (Ouch) (As originally I was being collected by a friend who was driving back from London on the Friday night)
I have also put in for compensation, but I checked with EU claim just now, and it said I wouldn't be eligible for compensation as it was classed an extraordinary circumstance.
I know bad weather isn't covered, but the weather was lovely in Bordeaux!
    What do you think?

Due to earlier extreme weather over Gatwick and across Europe, there are delays and cancellations to some flights this evening. We are working with our airlines and handling agents to get you away as quickly and safely as possible and are sorry if you are delayed tonight.

Thank you Caz, I know there were issues at Gatwick earlier. but the British Airways flight (50 mins later) to Gatwick departed on time.
So the weather by then was fine.
Problem was crews not where they were supposed to be/crew welfare. (So I believe)
Also, I've just checked with flight radar, and EZY8013 left Gatwick (delayed) but landed at BOD at 7.47pm that evening.
So does that mean the weather thing stll stands?
