    The alleged Ringleader.........
  • My CAA complaint has now been submitted.

So do I start court proceedings at the same time? Or do I have to wait for them to get back to me?

OK lets start from the baseline - JET2 are bullies and have been stung several times in higher courts and are still bruised by it. They will, apparently, do everything to avoid paying out even on legitimate claims.
They seek confidentiality clasues when paying out and have threatened several members on here when they don't like what is being said.
The same can be said for many other airlines (especially after J2 lost in CoA/Supreme court and made the other airline's lives alot tougher)
    Have you submitted your NBA/LBA?
"And what do you mean by 1 or 2 , 4 isn't an option?"
You can PM if you want rather than discuss with the J2 spies lurking on here.

Bexy how many persons are you claiming for?

If more than 2 you could put in a claim to Bott to claim for one person. When they then win for you, do the rest DIY with the knowledge and evidence you can produce in court evidence of payout on the flight.
CAA probably best route as Tyzap suggests firstly, but don't hold your breath...

    JP,

I cannot subscribe to that idea on purely moral grounds. Beside, just because one claimant has been paid out does not mean they will pay other claimants from the same flight. It could also take a long time to get all the claims settled.

Tyzap, I understand NWNF firms/companies/solicitors, especially a certain one, have done a huge amount for the consumer, in clarifying the law where airlines rode deliberatley roughshod over the consumer or judges made incorrect choices in their verdicts.
But at the end of the day, they do not do it out of the goodness of their heart or in the public interest, they are a business, to make a profit. End of. Yes they do have the individual client's best interests in mind and act in good faith, but only where there is money to be made either in the short or long game.
Call me a cynic, but if Bexy submits her claim for 4 via a NWNF Co. they will make a massive profit out of it. It costs them no more in time and expenses to submit a claim for 1, as it does for 4, from start to finish.
Is that moral? I don't charge patients 4x standard fee if I am doing the same procedure 4 times and it won't take me any longer than doing 2 at the most.

Morality is personal to each person, but not necessarily the same thing to everyone.

    Everyone to their own:)

    Hi Bexy,

Have you submitted a complaint to the CAA about the immoral way J2 have handled you compensation claim or have you submitted your compensation claim through them?

If it's the former, you can also start MCOL proceedings. If it's the latter, it would be best to wait.

Reply via PM if you don't want J2 to see your reply.

    Good luck.
