Sometimes it's hard to remember when you're personally involved, that they are people doing a job to represent their clients to the best of their ability, sometimes they win sometimes they lose and I bet tell the other half all about what a good or bad day they've had when they get home from work.. It's not personal it's a job. I have respect for 2birds, even though we are at the opposite end of the spectrum, they have always answered my emails, swiftly, professionally and courtesly.

In fact I'd love to share a glass of wine with Tom, I bet he would have some tails to tell.

Apparently the mighty CAA have been throwing their weight about with Jet2 and Whizzair over their reluctance to adhere to the flight delay compensation pay outs. There is a broadcast on this on the radio programme Moneybox at mid day today (Saturday) The CAA are even contemplating fines for these airlines. What a joke, the CAA would be better off being disbanded and replaced with a group of us from this forum.

Yep, cannot deny that.

But at long last there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Oh to be a fly on the wall at the next Jet2 board meeting when they have to request more ££££ to add to the £17m already allocated;)

Well the caa specifically mentioned the SC rulings and that they don't accept the two year limitation and they expect the airlines to comply with the six year rule so it will be interesting to see how the courts handle it now. Jet2 sound defiant but the caa's stance must add weight to the argument against them.

I don't think they necessarily need to add more money to the £17M they have put to one side. they just need to start spending the £17m on paying customers rather than 2 birds.
