Hello! I was on a Ryanair flight delayed by > 6 hours a while ago. I have since lost my reservation number and Ryanair are refusing to give it to me and I can't complete the forms for compensation without it. Any idea what the best way to proceed would be?
Thank you!0 -
Have you submitted a Subject Access Request if not send one ask for all information they hold including paperwork telephone conversations and info held on computers? If they fail to provide that information report them to the information commissioner and then sue them using the ESCP.0

Wow, thank you! So I have the full weight of the law on my side then!0

As long as your delay was not an extraordinary circumstance. Put your flight details into bottonline and euclaim to see what they say.0

I followed the tips on claiming compensation for a delayed flight with ryan air last year. After ryanair declined my initial request, the Aviation authority agreed & they informed ryan air stating they should award compensation in our favour, but ryan air have not acknowledged their decision or paid any compensation.
What do i need to do now?0 -

Hi Michelle,
You need to contact Aviation ADR to inform them that Ryanair have sill not paid you any compensation. Ask them what they will do about it and when.
Please let us know how you get on as this is becoming a regular occurrence atm.
Good luck. Please read Vaubans superb guide. To find it Google and then download 'vaubans guide'.0 -
Is there any update on the challenge to Ryanair regarding not allowing 3rd party solicitors and only allowing court cases in Ireland.0

A ban on passengers instructing solicitors to act for them is invalid in English Law. Claims companies are different as they don't have right of audience in Court. Bott and Co will know more about the choice of law clause appeal.0

Well done Oasis! That gives me hope, I am going to send the LBA this week as I’ve had no response to my email to ADR at the beginning of December asking how Ryanair’s decision to withdraw affected my case. The draft determination hasn’t been updated after 14 days to a final one either so I really am in the dark. Your post has prompted me to send yet another chasing message to ADR asking if they can please update me on my case (if I still have one) with them and whether they are able to progress anything. If not then I am going to chase Ryanair through the court because I think it’s worth trying.1

If bott & co or euclaim is unable to act against Ryanair is there a firm of solicitors in Eire who do the same0
