I am just in middle of it now, it says 'fee account number' is this my bank details for the fee to be taken from?
It asks what information will I be relying on, in support of my application, is it acceptable to just refer the judge to the letter i sent previously? Or should i copy the letter in to the space provided?
Thanks0 -
legal magpie also mentioned I should ask for Ryanair not to be sent notice, where should I add that bit in? There is a section that asks who should be served with this application, should this be blank or have Ryanairs address?
Thanks again!!0 -

Hi,
RA has been ordered by the court to pay by the 28th of this month. How likely are they going to do it, and if it doesnt happen what is the next step? thanks0 -

Medis111,
Your judgment will take a week or so before it crashes through the letterbox at RA headquarters.
RA will then either:-
1. Appeal it.
2. Ignore it.
Again my post #569 explains what to do in either situation.
For the time being, if you haven't been furnished with it already, ask your court for a copy of your judgment and a copy of the (populated by the court) ESCP Form D.
You will need both of these if RA take option 2 and you need to enlist the help of the Dublin County Sheriff.
Keep us informed how things progress.
As always- good luck and keep going.Successfully sued Ryanair in 2013/14...and have been 'helping' litigants since then.

Thanks again, it was very informative. How long should I wait to see if RA is appealing the decision before taking any further action?0 -
They can appeal for set aside at any time, so you can enforce the court order anytime after the 28th. Perhaps an email to Ryanair and give them until the 28th to pay ( or perhaps a wekk more if you are feeling generous) then action enforcement for recovery. If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide

Not sure if it was covered here (Apologies if this was) but the latest Botts Client Update email notes:
Note this is their Text and I'm not trying to steal attribution....
Ryanair
We had been of the understanding that Ryanair were given permission to appeal the Allen v Jet2 ruling, however, we have since had official confirmation that the airline has NOT been given permission to appeal – so it’s great news for passengers with claims against Ryanair and the thousands of others whose claims were affected by the Allen v Jet2 case.
The fact that the Courts have ruled in favour of the consumer once again signifies a fantastic step in the right direction for the thousands of passengers who have suffered from the airline’s refusal to meet their obligations to their customers.
The Court’s refusal to grant Ryanair permission to appeal gives us the go ahead to issue court proceedings against the airline where delays were caused by spontaneous technical issues. Over the coming weeks we will be working far beyond normal office hours to issue bulk court proceedings against Ryanair. We thank our clients for their patience during this time.0 -

Excellent news gjchester,
So if you are a litigant in person, and your case is currently stayed in the court system due to the combined Allen/ Barnes cases and you are waiting on the outcome of the previously thought allowed appeal by RA then, your waiting is over. No permission to appeal granted.
If you haven't already, send your court a letter asking for your stay to be lifted.
Do also quote that permission to appeal the Jenkinson Judgment has not been granted.
My post #1201 contains a template letter to do this.
Ryanair are on the floor, so now go and kick them.
