I thought as much but I fancy a day at court so unless their legal team try to set the court straight then I'll just turn up on the day. Got a feeling that they will try to pay me at the last minute in full as it's going to cost them a pretty penny to turn up and lose the case :)

..........As I said, the oral hearing shouldn't even involve attendance at court, but I doubt that the judge or court know this.........

Absolutely, sounds like yet another Judge and Court not up to speed with ESCP procedure.

That's all the judges want to do, simply list cases for directions, when they haven't a clue.

I'd go to Court and point out to the Judge the correct procedure, but that not might not be the best thing to do if you want to win your case ;)

I recall reading that Dr Watson had wrote to the Judiciary asking for Courts to be reminded on the ESCP. Did you ever receive a response Dr?

    Cheers,

    Novice,
Their response is as slow as compensation can be coming out of Dublin.;)

Judgement to be announced at 10:30 am tomorrow, will update properly when they let me out of Liverpool, wish I had more time to enjoy the city and of course the pubs...

I'm confident, not as confident as others, but Simon Murray did do an excellent job representing Bott & Co..

    Cheers,

I'm back home and just about to start a larger post on the dedicated Allen results thread, but an interesting anecdote.

I was walking out of the courtroom with Ronald Huzar himself, such a nice genuine bloke, we reached the doors to the lift and pressed the button, the doors, immediately opened and we noticed the Ryanair Barrister there, with his assistant?!? Anyway we were making small talk and talking openly about how things had gone, and the Barrister turn to us and asked who we represent, Ron immediately said 'ohh I'm Ron Huzar' the Barrister smiled and said 'oh the famous Ron Huzar, we should be asking you for your autograph, since you'll be responsible for putting Ryanairs prices up,'

Quick as a flash Ron looked him straight in the face and said 'YES, you're quite correct, about 50p I think!'

    Priceless, simply priceless.......

Looking back I should have said, 'ohh and me, I'm Dr Watson' :D

I hope you shook Mr. Bird's hand - he is a most decent fellow. He represented Monarch in their case against me. Of course Monarch didn't win, but I much enjoyed my encounters with Mr. Bird, who was thoughtful and professional throughout.

    Ooh you devil you ...(Angel?)!!!!!

You should have ......with my blessing.

But then they do know who I am....and they don't like me.

    I'm Spartacus of course..;)

........and I think what's telling is that Ryanairs Barrister failed to recognise the famous Ron Huzar, and he hasn't aged one bit!!

and regards the Barnes case, Judgement was requested by Barnes Solicitor/Barrister to be separate from the Allen case, sighting 'Management Operational decisions', full explanation on the submissions tomorrow, but I'm in PM world again!
