I've read through the threads and thought I was going through the proper procedure.

I was on Flybe flight BE468 in July, or at least was supposed to be until it was cancelled well over an hour after it should have departed. I eventually returned on the next scheduled flight the following morning, and I emailed Flybe customer service claiming compensation. Eventually, after nearly a month (and only after contacting the CAA) I received a reply stating "extraordinary circumstances" due to technical difficulties, with an offer of a £100 credit note.
I have refused this, informed Flybe that I am not satisfied and have forwarded their response to the CAA.
(This seems to be an increasing trend, and was confirmed by one of Flybe's own cabin crew!!!)0 -
I'm sitting on a bus from EMA travelling to Cardiff, Flybe cancelled our flight from CDG and our only option was to go on this flight which departed 3 hours later than the original time. The earlier flight from Cardiff to CDG was also cancelled. It obviously wasn't a technical problem while preparing for our flight so can I claim compensation ? Thanks (will be lucky to get to cardiff within 8 hours of original arrival time)0
