Thank you for your reply, they didn't give a reason apparently it was problems at the airport the plane was coming from before me (the plane never turned up). Flybe didn't and still haven't given a reason!
Do you think £60 or £75 in vouchers is acceptable?0 -
It was BE708 Friday 7th July from Newcastle to Exeter.
Thanks0 -

Katie,
The amount on offer doesn't seem to relate to anything. EC261 compensation is a fixed amount dependant on flight distance and time delayed. In your case, as previously mentioned, it should be 250 euros p/p so don't settle for less, if it is due.
You need to google 'Vaubans guide', download it and have a good read cos it's full of information about claiming.
Good luck. Please read Vaubans superb guide. To find it Google and then download 'vaubans guide'.0 -
Thank you! I'll have a read. I thought it sounds like an odd figure. They're trying to get away with paying less by the sounds of it...:mad:0

What was the price of your flight tickets between Newcastle and Exeter. What time did you leave Newcastle on the coach.0

Long time lurker here but finally putting pen to paper.
Last month my flybe flight from Norwich to Manchester was delayed (I can't honestly remember for how long but they gave out vochers for food). There was a technical fault with the plane. This caused me to miss my connecting flybe flight from Manchester to Inverness. They put me up in a Manchester hotel and got me on a plane the next morning, meaning that I finally arrived at my destination almost 12 hours later.
Am I due compensation?0 -
Did you book one ticket from Norwich to Inverness? if so, yes.0

"Did you book one ticket from Norwich to Inverness? if so, yes."
Yes. It was booked as one ticket but I was supplied with two tickets one from Norwich to Manchester then the next one from Manchester to Inverness. Would it just be the one claim or would it be 2 for the two legs?0 -
If it was one booking with flybe it's just one claim - even if both legs of the journey were delayed. A technical fault is not extraordinary circumstances so you should be due €250.
Read my guide (Google it) if you're unsure how to proceed.0 -
I did read your guide but I couldn't see my particular scenario. But well done for writing up a summary of what the compensation regulation is all about. I can see from this thread it has helped numerous people on MSE.0
