You could try popping the details into a NWNF solicitors website such as EU claim and Bott & Co. If they have any other passengers on the same flight, they might tell you if you have a claim or not. I'm not aware of another way myself.

    Cheers,

Try entering your details into Bott's Flight Delay Calculator - they check it against their database for eligibility.

    Hi,

I have been declined for compensation by Thomson (Flight was with First Choice) because I cannot provide a booking ref no or boarding pass - the flight was several years ago but within the window for compensation - having only just discovered this I am claiming now. I missed out on attending most of a festival because of this delay so I was well out of pocket.

How can I turn this on the airline to check databases etc/ I have insisted they do this and get the standard "you cannot fill in our form correctly however should you be able to...blah blah".

Surely they will have a record on their own booking system?

    Thanks in advance.

"Within the window".How within? If it was more than 5 years ago, you need to keep a very close eye on the calendar because if you don't issue Court proceedings (not simply send a letter claim) within 6 years you will be statute barred.

  • Was anyone on the forum on Thomas Cook flight TCX031L which was originally supposed to leave Calgary for Manchester on 10th Sept.2010 but only eventually left on 12th Sept. Thomas Cook are refusing my request for compensation because I cannot supply them with boarding passes (who can after 5 years?) If anyone has managed to get a copy of the passenger loading manifest for this flight I would love to have a copy to prove to Thomas Cook that my wife and I were on the flight.
