Flight delay and cancellation compensation, Tui/Thomson ONLY

I contacted Thomson today about my claim - my last letter o them was sent on 6 November 2014 to which I had not heard anything - I was told my claim was on hold until their committee had met to discuss my flights delay. I've not heard of committees on here before - are they just fobbing me off? They said they had no idea when the committee would meet as they had so many others to sort out also so I am none the wiser! What should I do now please ?0

Never heard of this committee. Perhaps they have set one up but that's their business not yours. You don't have to wait for them. You have two choices:
1. If you've already sent them an NBA threatening proceedings, you can simply get on and issue.
2. If the NBA was a long time ago OR you would prefer not to have the hassle of issuing proceedings AND you think they will pay up, you could write to them saying that unless you receive your payment by (say 14 days) you will sue them. If they don't comply, then do it. I appreciate that this is another NBA but Thomson have now caved in and are settling cases and you may be at the foot of the queue.0 -
Mods, Admins
Lets assume that Thomson do now have a committee that is starting to assess the validity of claims 'delay by delay'
If there is not already a place, is there anywhere that people who have currently received or receive in the future their payment, can post their Flight details in order to 'inform' people who search 'said area' as to whether they are likely to see recompense or not?
Assuming of course that once a payment has been made to a passenger of the flight then in theory any claimant for that the same flight should receive compensation?0 -

There is a thread called "Court success thread"
Or I take it you mean to have a dedicated case by case, claim by claim or flight thread? I think there is also a Monarch thread but not sure if its for all airlines.Check out Vaubans Flight Delay Guide, you will be glad you did....:):)

Ok, date of the order has passed and they have not paid.
Contacted them during the week to say I will be enforcing the order..
Whats the best way? HCEOs or local court?
Thanks

Hi experts. Could you confirm if I have a claim. Flight delayed from Sofia (Bulgaria) back to BHX in Feb 2012. Crystal reps knew of the delay before we even left the hotel but still bussed us out to the airport. Delay was well in excess of 3 hours (more like 5 from memory but can't find the info online) It was so late everything in the airport had closed. We were given a scabby makeshift bread roll to eat. We were told on arrival at Sofia by Crystal reps that there was a technical fault with the flight and due to bad weather it had not been possible to get the part. The problem was on an earlier part of our aircrafts route , somewhere in France I think (so as soon as it landed at Sofia we got on and took off) so we were caught up in the knock on effect. Are we entitled to claim as it was 'technical' and 'weather' and not on our actual flight?0

Who did you fly with, AngieM2?0

Thomson, Vaubin. So judging by the general theme of the forum....if I have a claim, I'm in for a long process (just like their flights!0
