So much for their pre-eminent qc - even if they exist.0 -

I'm disappointed that more cant be done CAA publically announce that the rules are 6 years why isn't something more being done to make them do the right thing!!!!
I didn't think they put much of my interview on there0 -

Well hopefully a few District Judges will be watching. Perhaps one could show that footage as evidence at a hearing so blow Thomson away.
So something will be done if court action is taken. Basically the airlines don't agree with 261/2004 and don't want to give any cash away for it - clearly it will involve the paying of big bucks and would hit the bottom line and I guess ultimately the share prices.
They will just make it as hard as possible for people to get what they should. I know that isn't right but people just need to be brave and take a stand.0 -
The guy from the CAA was about as firm as a blancmange! Dithering all the time and inspired me with no confidence at all. They can only mediate, not enforce, and so are a toothless tiger in my humble opinion.0

Is there any point in using them? The turnaround time is far too long for them to sort things out. The Small Claims Track is far faster and you get to call the shots.0 -
Any idea what sort of costs are involved with going through small claims court?
I don't really have the time or knowldege to go down this route so might sit tight and see what happens over the next few months. If not might try a no win no fee....0 -

There is a fee for kicking the claim off. Starts at £25 and then there is a hearing fee. If you get certain qualifying state benefits you pay no fees.0
