They have obviously agreed to pay for TCX1179 but only for 2 people, if you paid anything towards your child's flight even an admin fee usually around £20 the child is also due 400euro compensation so if you did pay a fee reject the payment and tell them you will return it and if they don't pay for the child you will see them in court. The answer to your second question is Yes they should reimburse for your food minus any alcoholic drinks.
Flight TCX1178 I have checked euclaim (check bottonline and see what they say), euclaim say you are due compensation as well for that flight 3x400euro. As for your hotel in Gatwick, they don't have to pay you although you could ask. Download Vaubans guide and read all the help you need is in there. Any more questions just come back0 -
You can also claim back any additional costs but not via the EU261 flight delay regulations.
You would need to use MCOL or the Montreal convention. Please read Vaubans superb guide. To find it Google and then download 'vaubans guide'.0 -
So we can proceed with your claim, please could you send me one of the following documents:-
Your tour operator invoice
Your airline ticket
Your boarding cards
Once I have this, I'll be able to continue with your claim.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Can anybody tell me how I proceed without being able to provide any of these?0 -
Can't you even get first of those? This is all about proof. How long ago was your flight?0
-
2013. I contacted travel agent but they said they no longer have any details of booking.0

In that case, you are going to have your work cut out although it's not impossible. To pursue such an old claim without any evidence I would go through a no win no fee specialist solicitor. Sure, if you win you'll lose a slice of your damages but better to get, say two thirds than get nothing especially as you are covered if you lose.0

Have you no emails, credit card statements etc?
You could send a SAR, they may still have data on you. But that's some time ago..If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide
The alleged Ringleader.........0 -
There must be a passenger list doing the rounds because I received cold calls urging me to claim for this delayed flight. These calls are the reason I started looking around and ending up here.0
-
Well SARs are free to make now (GDPR), so I agree with JPears, it is worth making one. It’s five years, so I would expect your data is somewhere still.0
-
What is sar? I googled it and still none the wiser.0
