This is what I cannot understand the flight has been cleared of system some how.
It depends what 'system' you refer to. If you mean the TC system it is probably there but they are just telling you it isn't ..... there is a distinct difference commonly referred to as truth or lie. If you refer to flightstats then, particularly in the case of charter flights they do not record all data. It is doubtful you, as a layman, will have access to ACARS however this site > http://www.libhomeradar.org/databasequery/
is probably more accurate than flightstats however navigation is more difficult.
In any event if your record (in particular your passport) is accurate you should read Vauban's Guide, digest it and then pursue your (what appears to be) valid claim. Given the lapse in time it is doubtful a NWNF will take on IMO.0 -
I've been offered compensation for a delayed flight but in the form of a voucher. Can I request that they pay me the money instead or not?
Thank you0 -
you CAN insist on money0

This flight from Bristol was delay by 7 hours, delayed due to a blocked toilet pipe - an initial claim to Thomas Cook and subsequent arbitration to the CAA has resulted in NO compensation. Can I and is it worth resubmitting this claim, as this was clearly a maintenance issued.
Thanks

start with this thread, read Vauban's guide, test the NWNF sites to see if they believe compensation is due...if yes, take it to court yourself or give in to the NWNF firms, if no, decide whether to take it to court yourself or forget about it.

My girlfriend received an email entitled BACs payment from TC today saying she will receive compensation within 10 days. Does it really take that long... I've never heard of a 10 day BACs payment!0

Remember the airlines aim is to pay you as slowly as possible, just another tactic I'm afraid.
Good luck. Please read Vaubans superb guide. To find it Google and then download 'vaubans guide'.0 -
Dear All,
I have applied for compensation for a delayed flight from Orlando to London Gatwick using Thomas Cooke's own website application and they have agreed that compensation is due. The problem is that I do not agree that the flight was delayed by less than four hours. They are saying it was 3h 56m. Do you know of any reliable websites or any reliable means of finding out when a flight landed? Thank you.0 -
What was the flight number and date?0
