Hi
After getting no where with Thomas Crook i decided to pass my claim on to EUClaim. After 5 weeks they have now come back to me.
My flight was from Belfast to Cyprus which is 3,770KM. I thought that the compensation due was €600 per passenger. EUClaim company are saying that it is actually €400 because it is an intra community flight (within europe). Can someone please clarify if this is correct. I have just read regulation 261/2004 and it looks like they are wrong but i cannot be sure?
Thanks
IMO €400 per passenger.
If you think about it, what could point b) under article 7 of the reg mean otherwise, when it says 'all other flights...' ?0 -
the flight was TCX 345 from manchester to dalaman, there were delays to thomas cook flights the previous day and it was chaotic the day we were there, delays on flights to various places,we were told our plane was delayed due to a knock on effect.our plane was taken as a plane had been grounded in cyprus the previous day so the passengers due to fly to cyprus then had been in a hotel all night and were given our plane which should have taken off at 8 am,we finally took off at 5.20 pm.however thomas cook are denying this and give technical faults on the waste tank as the reason.i am wondering if anyone who was at manchester around the same time have had any success0

Hi everyone, i want to send my first letter of claim, but what is the best address to write to? I have read through many pages of the thread for info and so far i have come across:
FK5 4RU - Falkirk - i'm thinking could be the best address currently?
BD11 2PS - Birkenshaw, Bradford
PE3 8SB - Peterborough - someone saying only for MCOL
BD1 2ST - Godwin St, Bradford - possibly closed now?
Thanks0 -
I sent the following to TC on 28/4/2013
I yesterday received an email which you are asking me details in an attempt to pay me in full and bring my claim to an end.
In this letter you are asking me for proof I was on the flight in question by means of either my confirmation invoice, ticket booklet or boarding cards - I have none of these.
However you yourself keep records of all pax on a flight (this is a legal requirement) so you already have a record of me being on the flight in question.
If you still insist that I provide a confirmation invoice I request that you use my details provided and send me a copy of my invoice by post (as you also keep a record of these by law) and I will resend you back the invoice as requested.
I have sent you two emails with the booking reference number.
Name: ****
Booking Reference ***
Departure Date:03/05/2009
Delayed Flight: Date of Delay:03/05/2009
I look forward to receiving full payment of my claim (in cheque form, please note I will not accept travel vouchers in any way or form) within the next 14 days.
My address is
*****
****
Thankyou
Do I just send them the NBA form? I may sound a little dim here, but is there a proforma for the NBA? If so, where is it?

Thanks. Just seen that I had forgotten to take those details off0

I've been using Peterborough & have received my holding emailPrivate Parking Tickets - Make sure you put your Subject Access Request in after 25th May 2018 - It's free & ask for everything, don't forget the DVLA0 -
Considering everyone is saying the Bradford office is closed, Thomas Cooks solicitors have asked the courts that my court case be transferred to the Bradford County courts as that is where their clients are.
Just heard though, its been transferred to my home town. :T0 -
Geoff1057 - Air Malta contact details are here (incl email) - http://www.flightstats.com/go/Airline/airlineDetails.do?airlineCode=KM
why not fire off an email to them indicating a claim may be on its way and see what response you receive?
Have done exactly that, had an automated emailsaying that they will be intouch. We will see what they say.0 -
