IMO €400 per passenger.
If you think about it, what could point b) under article 7 of the reg mean otherwise, when it says 'all other flights...' ?

A technical fault on a waste tank causing a 9 and a half hour delay at a "hub airport", I wondered where the script writers for Two Ronnies had gone! Firstly read para 3 of Sturgeon judgment, which should more or less settle your case. To be really clever, and completely discredit them go on the flightstats web site, and research Thomas Crooks flights into and out of Manchester, for both the day before, and your actual flight. Then send them a LBA.

Hi everyone, i want to send my first letter of claim, but what is the best address to write to? I have read through many pages of the thread for info and so far i have come across:

FK5 4RU - Falkirk - i'm thinking could be the best address currently?
BD11 2PS - Birkenshaw, Bradford
PE3 8SB - Peterborough - someone saying only for MCOL
BD1 2ST - Godwin St, Bradford - possibly closed now?

I sent the following to TC on 28/4/2013

I yesterday received an email which you are asking me details in an attempt to pay me in full and bring my claim to an end.
In this letter you are asking me for proof I was on the flight in question by means of either my confirmation invoice, ticket booklet or boarding cards - I have none of these.
However you yourself keep records of all pax on a flight (this is a legal requirement) so you already have a record of me being on the flight in question.
If you still insist that I provide a confirmation invoice I request that you use my details provided and send me a copy of my invoice by post (as you also keep a record of these by law) and I will resend you back the invoice as requested.
I have sent you two emails with the booking reference number.

Considering everyone is saying the Bradford office is closed, Thomas Cooks solicitors have asked the courts that my court case be transferred to the Bradford County courts as that is where their clients are.

Just heard though, its been transferred to my home town. :T

why not fire off an email to them indicating a claim may be on its way and see what response you receive?
Have done exactly that, had an automated emailsaying that they will be intouch. We will see what they say.

It appears that TC have quite a number of court cases up and down the country over the next 2-3 months, does anyone think they have resources or indeed the audacity to defend many of these cases?
