By seeing all the reply, I just wonder if my request was understood never mind read.
And yes, to reply to Neilmcl I consider that refering the matter to an Ombudsman is trying to seetle it in an amicable way
But thanks anyway0 -
hallelujah praise the lord the OP takes advice posted
Yet it took 53 posts for the OP to say he might well have to follow through with the legal process.
Again, what do you not understand when I said that I was looking for an amicable way to sort the matter out. I have always consider going to Courts but not as an immediate action0 -
As far as Money Claim online goes it says the followingYou can use the service from anywhere in the UK, but only against someone with an address in England and Wales. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Your request was understood and answered in post #20. It probably would have been sooner if you hadn't insisted on being secretive and drip-feeding relevant information.
The remainder of this thread has just been you going round in circles asking why there isn't a central ombudsman and going on about being amicable.0 -
As far as Money Claim online goes it says the following
And from what I can see, you MUST have a UK address when instigating the claim. So you will need some sort of UK based service address.
Not sure about that - you might just have to use the old style paper claim form.
The notes don't mention (as far as I could see) anything about claiming from overseas, but do sayYou should provide the address including postcode
for yourself and the defendant or its equivalent in any
European Economic Area (EEA) state (if applicable).
Which would lead me to believe you can claim from within the EEA0 -
So OP whats your net move going to be ?0

You may well find that the court's first ruling is that you undertake mediation, which I believe is done in person within the UK. Are you prepared for this?0

From the MoJ website...Small Claims Mediation Service
The Small Claims Mediation Service deals with monetary claims under £5,000 that are already going through the courts. If both parties agree to using mediation, they will be contacted by the service. As most cases are dealt with by telephone, they save the time and the expense of having to go to court.
Another recent thread shows this.
Of course, I have no idea whether international telephone calls can be part of the arrangement.0
