Seeking for an organisation that could help me

Hi,

I have presently a problem with a company based in the UK.

I am seeking for any kind of Consumer rights Ombudsman or any organisations that could get in touch with the company to help me sorting the problem.

The EEC has been very unhelpful, so I'd rather much trasmit my claims to a UK based organisation, before I take the matter to the County Courts.

Which organisation do you reckon could help me?

Thanks in advance.

What exactly is the problem with the company?
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

...and where are you located ? The fact you tried the EEC (?) before a UK body would tend to suggest you're not a UK resident ?

You say this without giving any indication as to the nature of the business or the problem?

Come on, giving a bit more detail would have probably gotten you some good answers by now.

    Hi, thanks for the replies.
Yes I am located outside the UK. The EEC failed to address my complaint because they ignore the law of the UK and I am only entitled to seized the EEC of the country I am based (France)

The nature of my complaint is basically a failure for the company to keep a binding promise/offer (it would be too long and complicated to explain or give here all the details)

So what I need is an organisation/Ombudsman that will take my claim and get in touch with the faulty company to see if the matter can be solved amicably

    Thanks

Without these details it's impossible to say who you should contact.

I do not see what is the problem. Surely there must be some organisations in the UK that can contact a company. The matter is merely a consumer rights breach of an offer made for a distance selling item.

I am not asking what are my rights (I know them), I need a UK body that will have more influence than I can have to make the company comply with the promise made.

There is one. It's the UK's Courts system.

Yes sure, but as I said 'd rather much trasmit my claims to a UK based organisation, (that could help solve the matter in the most amicable way) before I take the matter to the County Courts.
