Oh, are we supposed to take them down then?

Can you understand people who have opened sprays and bottles, a pile of washed dusters and half used packs of scourers and dishcloths in their cleaning cupboards . My pile of unopened things looks much tidier, even if they are a bit dusty.

I took the tree down and threw about 30 baubles away. 30 less to store (and the tree looked too full).

First time I've peeped into this thread - spend most of my efforts on decluttering - but I have to admit that, since moving into this flat a year ago, I haven't once cleaned the inside of the windows :o. Come to think of it, we're 'upstairs' and the outsides haven't been done either :rotfl:.

In fact, rear bedroom curtains haven't even been opened for around 6mths as I can't get close to them because of all the boxes still piled up in there .

Don't feel bad. I recon the outside of my windows haven't been done for a good 10 years or so.

Its getting to the state where I am wondering whether to bother with the insides as they still look dirty from the muck on the outside.

Washing machine filter was blocked. Drained most of the liquid via the tube but quite a bit swooshed out when I opened the filter.

I had several teatowels waiting for the next wash on the floor, so I soaked up the soapy water with them, then stood on them and shuffled all over the kitchen floor.

Result - washing machine works and floor is clean :D
