Still a sloblady! It is now November and I have yet to fold the table down in the dinning room since last Christmas - why would I it holds so much more ironing. There is carving set is still on top of the fridge we last used it for the chrismas Turkey (we did wash it up) but it never made it to the cupboard, along with the trifle dish and veg serving dishes.
My oven died 2 months ago, the grill andhob still work, I have only just got round to ordering a replacement (when hubby said if was time to order a turkey)!! Hopefully it will be here in time for Christmas, due mid December!! Any delay may be a problem. Plan B would be to take boxes of food , equiptment, decorations, wine, table cloth, crackers, father in law and pressies round to my dad's house instead of him coming here ... sounds like a lot of work but he has a dish washer!! Hubby would need to drive and not drink but a dishwasher!!

I'll add to my previous offering:
    Tips from a sloblady:

Chuck everything. Your house looks massive and its easy to clean.

What you cant chuck, make sure it either goes in drawers, cupboards or when all else fails, under the stairs.

Less clothes. Less to wash right?

Got kids? At least get them to wash up their own knife/fork/spoon/plate/bowl. Less for you to wash.

Lighting is important. Use wall lights. You cant see the 'hanging gardens'.

I'll get back to you on the rest.

    Ironing.... wouldnt know how.

    Baking...forgotten how.

Joints of meat cooked in roasting bags...

    .

I have 2 items in my wardrobe that need ironing, they are special occasion dresses and don't get worn much - if they are needed hubby irons them!

My dad wanted ironing lessons after we lost my mum, my brother had no car at the time, I have to admit I gave my brother a lift to dad's to house to give an ironing demonstration!

Ironing - life is too short!!
