Last weekend I washed the bed linen.
Earlier this week, I cleaned the bathroom.
Last night, I defrosted the freezer.
And this morning, I have hoovered.I will miss you all. But I will return in about three months, when I've done nothing since!
i had a fit of cleaning since Thursday and my whole house is gleaming, tidy and I think I'm in a coma, mad or something equally disturbing.
I'm doing nothing more strenuous than eating chocolate bikkies tomorrow tho. Well, I may watch a film.0 -
My partner is a cleanie. Aaagh.
He cleans my house now and then (with his reading glasses on end of nose! ) To better see the smears etc!)
I love him to bits. Even when he finds things I don't want to know about.
My mantra is... Don't tell me about it just do it!
And he does. Am I lucky or what! But if he is away or whatever, I revert to type, awaiting his return, as you do. And he just gets on with it.
Aaagh
I'm banned now I'd say. But it's not ME being a cleanie you see!
It is sometimes terrifying to be told there is so much grease on this cooker it's unreal... But I go to another (untidy) room, and let him at it.
To be fair, he is early retired, with mucho time on hands. Great!0 -
Ahhh Christmas - the perfect time for a sloblady to practise her art! I shall be putting my feet up, cuddling the cat and watching films for the next two weeks, and woe betide anything or anyone that gets in the way of that very important business!I believe in the freedom of spinach and the right to arm bears.

But in my defence, the fumes can be toxic to small animals and eldest son's gf had her hedgehog over to visit.
Oh there is an easy way round that.......don't put the hedgehog in the oven.....we prefer the traditional turkey at this time of year:DBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Once a year is allowed.
No more than that ok? :j0 -
Is there something in the air this year? I never understood my mum's need to have the house clean ready for us to mess it up on christmas day but this year, I've suddenly got the urge. And from the sounds of it, lots of fellow slobladies have too!0

I find a generous Baileys and a handy box of chocs works wonders0 -

I hoovered, dusted and de cobbwebbed (#1 dil is phobic about cobwebs rather than spiders)
Honestly Raksha, cobwebs sprayed with glitter are easy on the eye and does away with the tiresome urge to drag half the garden into the house. Ask me how I know.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Have trouble remembering how to fly.0
