When you run out of clean towels, don't bother washing one just take a 20 minute walk to the local shop and buy a new one! That's what my son did. It seems I've trained him well. :rotfl:0

my mum had cataract surgery in both eyes, then discovered that a blouse she had bought to match an outfit, didn't match at all
She also didn't know whether to laugh or cry when she realised how white her hair was.
When my Nan went into hospital she wondered why all the nurses kept looking at her toothbrush and laughing. She found out when she went in again and had her cataracts removed. It turned out the handle of the toothbrush was a naked man.:rotfl:0 -
I once had an ironing board but sold it to someone who collected it on a motorbike.
Kept the iron for the odd occasion I might use fabric paint. I can always use the floor as an ironing board.0 -

this made me smile! i never had an ironing board my whole life until about 3 years ago (i am now 30). it was always done on a towel on the floor/table or not at all
i now own one but just use it as another place to store clothes on now.You can never be old and wise if you are not first young and stupid0 -
I still don't own an ironing board. A thick towel on the kitchen worktop suffices on the (incredibly) rare occasion that I use the iron - normally for hemming tape!:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

I had a real slob day today, I had no intention of going out and no-one was expected to visit so I didn't bother with a shower this morning and put on yesterdays clothes
I realise this may be a step too far for some but although I feel very slobbish, I don't actually feel dirty.0 -
