Microsoft, IBM, Goldman sachs have to have a presence in this country, if not their market share and ability to operate would be significantly diminished. They need the uk just as much as we need them, so they should pay the full tax on income generated in the territorial borders. If employers like Tesco and some of the a fometioned companies payed a living wage we would not be having to pay Tax Credits, every pound a Tescos employee get sin tax credits is a pound in shareholders pocket, how can a company make so much profit and have some many people on Tax Credits that work for it, the profits are made at the taxpayer expense, it's ludicrous.
And who are the vast majority of shareholders?

    Quite easily
    • by matching the skills we need to compete Globally like Germany did whilst tackling the euro crisis. As i said a few times we not broke yet compared to europe and Austrity will push us there soon enough because the cuts don not help Growth or the economy (In 2012 the Econmary gre 0.0000001% after two years of power befor e the coalition we have 5% Gdp )
    • The goverment could follow germany suit and try to re-invest in small business which in time turn to big business and more employment? As well as close the loops and train people to compete instead of wasting A4E programs say 1 million poiund could sucure funding for new companies and take xxx staff on, and trade helping people get there own business by free social exchange programs shown in programs like Bank on Dave for investment to release the capital and start trading to other countries
I don't have all the answers but its better then a big tax payer bail out the Government banks on by paying third companies to solve the problems we all face.

Still don't know what you mean about government investing in small businesses.

read it again. I said single on JSA is NOT rolling it, whereas someone with one child at least, IS compared to the single person on JSA.

Surely it's a good thing to see pension funds doing well.
Why do some think that profit is a bad thing?

if no one is rolling it in, why create a benefit cap at the same rate as an earner on £35K?

they did actually say that for CHILDREN related claims they get more.

Do you know that despite the Govt saying you and your OH can live on what you do (and it's £56 pw for under 25's) a child can bring £85 per week with no bills as this is paid to the parents, Plus Free School Meals?

Example - If I was single and claiming benefits with 4 children (one of whom is not mine and I care for as parents are not fit to raise her), I would get approx £2,000 pm in benefits. Plus I'd get maintenance of £1500 pm, so £3,500 pm.

Do you know any job that pays that amount?

As for your comment that nobody is benefits is rolling in it, well I beg to differ. How the heck can you NOT be rolling in it when you are getting TWENTY SIX THOUSAND POUNDS a year FREE money?

Because it is profit at the expense of the taxpayer.
