I haven't had any contact, either by email or telephone. I think I will stick it out and see what happens. If it costs us to cancel normally then they should pay me if they want to cancel my booking :D

well good news people PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL YOUR BOOKING i been on the phone all day to booking.com they rang me 5 times to get me to cancel booking and they was very nasty but after 2 days of fighting with booking.com and hotel i got best news ever i have just come off the phone with manger of hotel she now says there still unsure how this happend but both them and booking.com WILL honour the £18 room rate we will be getting email soon also she told me that i could pick any date i wanted this year if available and they would change my booking to theses dates i am one happy guy hope this is true just got to wait for this email lets hope everyone else gets the same news as me :j so people power wins hope this helps :money:

Great news guys!!

I've just been speaking with a lovely lady in reservations at the Metropolitan.

YES they are honouring the price of £18 per night for guests who have booked the fantastic rate! :T

She also confirmed that guests booking the £18 per night deal can change their reservation to any night of the year - subject to availability.

Big thumbs up to The Met!! :beer:

Thank you, could you please tell us the telephone number to call to change the reservation to another night?
Is it just their central reservations, or the hotels in house reservations?
