Skillens Competition [text deleted by forum team]

Personally, I think there is more likely to be a troll/s on this thread atm, who may not being coming 100% clean with any connections to the company or employees/owner, than trolls who targeted Skillens.

I could agree that there were very likely a few comments when she first won, directed to the company not the winner. But I have known the person who was speaking to Linda for years, and no way is our Rach a troll.

For the record, didn't enter, comp didn't interest me

I think personally that any poster on this thread that has done their best to defend Skillens, is either the owner, or a friend or a relative of the owner and such like! :rotfl:

I also did not enter the comp so am not disgruntled personally, but I have followed this with interest since it happened. Most of the whole sorry saga does not make sense (or should I say the explanations from skillens since the whole thing kicked off, does not make sense!)
Am I right in thinking that there were no negative comments towards the winner at the time the famous comment from 'skillens' that was supposed to be the answer from the winner appeared? From what I saw it was all congratulations messages and nice chatting? If so, the explanation from the owner that she let the winner be admin to delete nasty comments just doesn't ring true! Correct me if I'm wrong on all that? The accusing comments started only after skillens major boo boo didn't they?

Anyway, I never thought the 'winner' was really an employee... I didn't think any company would be THAT stupid to use the face of an employee as a winner of their competition... But I do think that the 'winner' is definitely a friend/relative/acquaintance of the jewellers... Hopefully it will allllllllll come out in time! Can't wait to find out for sure! I was wondering too... The same lady who supposedly won and then a couple of days later, appeared to have won another fb competition... Does anyone think this second company has some connections to it all? Making it look like she enters comps... Because I couldn't see any evidence of her entering competitions on her fb page! Just find that odd!!! Ahhh well... I'm off to comp! Lol I wasted enough time on that dodgy company recently... Did have fun watching them squirm as it unfolded though! :rotfl:

Peskyprincess. I have no problem admitting I know the winner personally and would do anything to defend her. I know none of it makes clear sense and if I was an outsider I would probably think the same but I would never make such rude and ignorant comments as those that have been posted throughout the whole saga. There were derogatory comments made on her appearance which were removed which is why you didn't see them. She is no relative of Skillens and as has already been pointed out this is a common surname.Happy comping!
