Could I be so bold as to ask why you felt your credit rating would be crap? What sorts of things did you anticipate causing problems? Hope you don't mind me asking. Have you got any old CCJ's or is it just poor payment records?

Got my card this morning. It's a full Visa Debit card ... :j

No cheque guarantee but that's ok ... most of the shops I use now don't accept cheques ...

I used to have an Electron (in fact I still do but don't use the account anymore) and as a rule I didn't have to many problems with retailers accepting it.

The only issue I had was paying for goods on a few websites .. but nothing major ...

At last ... you should get the other bits quite quickly.

I've just realised I don't have my 5 digit Customer PIN yet for Internet banking ... It's now the last thing I'm waiting for ...

    Hi Mark,

They seem to send everything out at once and it arrives haphazardly so you get things in a jumbled up order - I'm sure it'll be the next thing through the door!
