    Hi Mark,

I've got a Visa Debit on its own and so did everyone else I know who have opened one of these accounts so I'm guessing the reasoning behind your getting an Electron card must be to do with your credit rating and the fact they refused the automatic overdraft and credit card. That's the only reason I can think of. I'd phone them up and ask them though.

    Regards

Oooh - didn't know you could get an Electron which was cheque guarantee. Must be new. What's your guarantee limit?

If that's the case then you should be fine - so long as it's Visa debit in some way I can't see a problem. I haven't seen one of those before either - does sound intriguing!

On the back should be a hologram near the signature strip. What can you see in it?

I got told by 2 people I would be get electron but customer services said def Via Debit card.

Now been told I got a new type of card with is both Electron and Visa Debit. they may take a bit longer to authorise but it is a Cheque guarantee card for £100

    Ooooo .. thats interesting.

My card hasn't arrived yet but I'll update you when I get it. I'm hoping it arrives soon ... I'm very impatient ... :D
