But what the op is saying is not possible, without two supply points. If there is only one but x2 meters the second had to be installed 3rd party and so would be no dispute as the first would record all
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

I dont know a huge amount about meters, but I do know how to recognise 2 meters. Meter B fed through to Meter A and then into the property. I assume that one meter was cubic feet and the other cubic meters, however, it doesnt alter the fact that Npower deny the 2 meters, despite authorising their replacement, and wont tell me which reading/meter they used for my gas bill.

I dont really want to get into how/what/why as that wasnt why I posted, Ive had this row ongoing with Npower since July last year when they received readings from BOTH meters more than once.

Surely is wasnt rocket science to simply ask for a CEO contact name/email?

P.S. Regarding changing my account details, it isnt going to happen. I am a single parent, disabled, with one child living at home.

This is what the OP is disputing about. It is not enough that you think that this issue makes it fraud.
You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'

they wouldnt of installed the second meter, whatever usage was recorded on the first is what your liable to pay. Sounds like whoever built or did other work decided to install a second meter to monitor the usage. No supplier would install in this manor.

According to the chap who removed the meters, a second prepayment meter was installed and 1 fed the prepayment one, when the prepayment was replaced with a credit meter, they didnt remove both meters as they should, just added a credit in place of the prepayment, yes, he said it shouldnt have been done. But the fact remains it DID happen and thats my dispute. There really isnt any point in arguing over it.

As I said, I have stated the facts and what my issue is. But it appears that what I say is even being called to question in here so I shall leave this thread now as its pointless just explaining my case again and again.

I have now contacted Watchdog over this and will see what happens.

Thanks to those who provided legal and supported advice.

Watchdog wont do anything, the issue you have is that a final response has been given by the supplier. Now this has happend you have cost them about £300 so wont go over disputes, and I bet very soon a warrant will be applied for.

As said before the reads used should be of the first meter only.

Chanz4 Im finding your comments very patronizing.

Trust me, there WERE 2 meters here and they BOTH worked, check out the readings. This isnt about what SHOULD have happened, it is what it is. You havent been helpful at all and maybe you should work for Npower as they deny 2 meters also.

The fact that it doesnt happen as a rule is the reason this is such a mess. But I am not lying and I have readings and photos of BOTH meters.

I will pay willingly the amouth that Npower prove to me is correct. So far they are not doing that.

If you wish to comment again, please make it useful rather than just questioning if there are two meters and who installed them, that isnt the issue here.

Post the pictures via photo buckets, I work this area for a lot of years WERE TRYING TO HELP YOU! A supplier can estimate your usage, and they also have the option to force fit a pre-pay.

Just because the meters both work, does not mean that the second was a supplier supplied meter.

Chenz4, just exactly how will you help? You look at some photos and then act on behalf of Npower? You can speak on Npowers behalf? You can make decisions for them?

Only Npower can resolve this and my post simply requested information of which I now have. Irrespective of what you say I am not stupid, trust me, Im not. I do know what 2 meters look like and Im also perfectly capable of tracing pipes, reading the meters and talking/listening to the guy who removed BOTH meters and installed a single one.
