yeah its called fraud
No, I dont have nor wish to put my accounts in anyones names.
As its been said, The Ombudsman has basically said, take it or leave it (£100 compensation) and I have no right to appeal with them.
Hence my asking, if anyone has the contact details of someone higher up than the standard and executive complaints team as I have been through them also.
I simply want to get this resolved and move on, I am disabled and this really isnt helping my health at all. As long as it goes on, the higher my bills are getting.
I will attempt to change supplier, but Im not hopeful.0 -

Once you have gone to an ombudsman a company wont enter any further with you, they gave you their finance response prior to. You cost them money going to the regulator, and still dont like their reply. Short of it, no leg to stand on. Inregards to change of supply, this is a no go and I have a feeling that now they have a final response they will take it to court for a rights of entry warrantDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0 -
One thing I have noticed, you say there was 2 meters installed, unless there is x2 supply points that would not be possible. However if there was their meter first, then say your landlord put one after it you are still liable.Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. Sorry but yes, it is possible and did happen, plus both were working, hence the complaint to start with. It was also proved when they were both removed and a single meter installed that BOTH meters were working and feeding my property.
July 4th Meter A 4070 Meter B 7655 a couple weeks later Meter A 4084 Meter B 7660 a few weeks later Meter A 4102 Meter B 7667.
So tell me you would accept their estimate without telling you which reading they used?0 -
I find it hard to characterize it as fraud. It leaves a live dispute over an account up to the point of changeover. It leaves nPower not supplying OP after changeover and not being paid for what they are not providing. But it does not leave nPower short of any money which is not is dispute.yeah its called fraudYou might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'0 -

if you are claiming to be a new occupier, it is fraud as your not a new occupier and are giving false info.Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0 -

Well they could do one of 2 things, the first meter on the supply would record all usage no matter what the second says. Now unless you had 2 mprs my guess is that your property has been used and either bedsits, flats or a house knocked through.
No property other than the above would have x2 supplys, do you happen to have photos.
They can estimate usage, but they should really just take the reading of their meter.
Can you answer has it ever been flats or 2 bedsits, also has it more that one mprDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0 -
That might be giving false information - although possibly all of the information would be trueif you are claiming to be a new occupier, it is fraud as your not a new occupier and are giving false info.
If I tell you I am 18 years old, is that fraud? As far as I can see it is purely giving false info. There is more to fraud that telling an untruth. You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'0 -

Try it, then when they do a search and you end up with a cifas flag / relationship flag if you have joint finances before. And if you give information with the intention to defraud it is fraud.Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. You are chasing your own tail. It has to be fraud in the first place if the intention to do it is intention to defraud. And you have failed to do anything much to prove that it is fraud apart from holler that it is fraud and you might get a cifas flag.Try it, then when they do a search and you end up with a cifas flag / relationship flag if you have joint finances before. Starting a new account is probably the cleanest way of paying for what you owe going forward and putting clear demarcation around the dispute. You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'0
