NSD today - about the only thing going well. It's not so good still.
Valentine's Day tomorrow will see me needing to buy more fajita seasoning (as I stupidly used all the sachet in the fajitas early in the week) and more bananas, as Mr KB has been eating them like there is no tomorrow.
I'll use the shop tomorrow to get a few bits for the weekend - cooked meat, more mushrooms, and some more milk - hopefully it won't come to too much.

Evening all.
£4.94 spent on couscous, loose carrots, chicken stock gel pots and cooked chicken.
Had the cooked chicken with left over sweet potato mash from dinner last night. Also have a enough for the same meal tomorrow for lunch.
Tonight I cooked chicken in mango chutney, stock, cumin and spring onions with coriander couscous. Was nice, so I'll do it again in the future to use the jar of mango chutney in the fridge up.
Tomorrow will be cod (defrosted from the freezer), with a carrot, coriander and soy bean rice pilaf.
So should be NSD tomorrow.Grocery Challenge Jan 24 0/300

Attempt at a small spend didn't happen today! Got caught up in the bargains, stocking up on things I use a lot of! Got some things for food next week too as I have the in laws staying for 4 days! Still going to try my best to keep within budget rest of the month!
Also doing an online wine order this evening, not too much but enough to keep them happy next week! I have a 1000 extra Tesco points voucher and since I only use them for rewards it equates to £30-£40 so a nice saving there in the long run!Grocery Challenge 2019 YTD-£820.46/£7200(11%)
