  • Posting quick spends will read later :) Found YS tiger prawns at work 75p down from £3 will use them in the planned spring rolls on saturday. Spent £6.63 yesterday and £17.67 today. Went to Aldi for the first time today and bought quite a few things on my list that were cheaper, pretty pleased with what I got. Hoping to have only fruit, milk and bread spends for the rest of this week.

Hi,Can I set £280 for February please for 3 adults and dog, to include all food, toiletries, household and pet food.
January challenge finishes tomorrow and I am under budget, so I have chopped £5 per week for now.

    Hi Folks.

Can I join for February please??? My budget for 1st Feb- 28th Feb is €600 (ROI Mse'er!). That's for 2 adults, 3 kids, 1 dog and 2 fat cats! It includes all spending on food, household, petfood and toiletries.

It's approximately £500 sterling and everything costs a wee bit more here than in UK so I don't think I'll come in any lower but here's hoping!

Dinner tonight - HM suet pie, roast potatoes, roast parsnip, cabbage, carrots and gravy.

Thanks - I don't need it for bread but meat.

Yes I only use mine for meat as I much prefer my old bread knife,
    had it 45years :rotfl:

    Hi

    Can I come back please?
DD1's going on a couple of school trips this year and I've just spent slightly more than I should have on DD2's birthday so I'm needing to cut down! In addition DS has applied for university and I'm really starting to get a bit jittery about money (I'm probably not alone!).
I'd like to start with £400 please for February (I know this is a bit high) and really try to cut down, hopefully by £10 a month this year.

And thank you to the people running the thread!
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.
