Evening all.
Had a couple of bits to get this week, couple of bottles of OHs favourite squash while it was still half price, bread, milk and a YS mash, couldn't resist, it only took five minutes to do dinner that night, sausage casserole already cooked, microwave, ping, all done.0 -
Spent £9.11 today. Got a fair bit for my money though. A portion of smoked salmon for pasta, enough chorizo for three meals, two portions of Serrano ham, 2 packs of teacakes, some garlic, some ginger and some olive oil. Unplanned spends but all will get used and have been accommodated in februarys meal plan!Comper, Blogger & OS-erCompetition prizes: £6/£20150

Well I'm afraid my NSD didn't materialise today because I did need to get a few things. Bovr*l x 2, Bananas, rocket, doggy bics etc., so around £14 spent. I have updated siggy. I think I'm around £45 above where I should be for my annual total, but there's plenty of time to correct that.Sealed Pot Challenge 7 Member 022 :staradmin:staradmin:staradmin

I was looking through the freezer tonight and we have a pack of bacon, there are two of us and I wondered if you guys have any meal ideas for us?
Also once the bacon is defrosted will it keep in the fridge for a day or so?
Thanks in advance!Mortgage overpayments 2014 £175

I have done pasta salad for me previously, but it was due to poor planning, worked 4-10 on the Sunday, then just didn't have time on the Monday morning with an early start! OH won't eat cold pasta, so his was unavoidable.
Doing much better now, have bought an extra loaf of bread (on offer) and made up a load of sandwiches for the freezer, so won't be short again!
NSD yesterday and another expected today, should have no need to buy owt til Saturday unless I/we slip up somewhere!0 -
January was hard but February will be harder!
This is the first day for me and I am happy to report my first NSD and February Grocery Challenge begins without shopping and not one penny will be spent on payday! :T (Oops! I've forgotten my purse)
Good luck to all my fellow :money: savers and super shrimpers.Return and Restart August 2016
