Stopped in at Ls to get spuds, burger buns and salad on the way home. Remembered that we're out of ground coffee and almost out of balsamic, so picked those up as well. Somehow a bag of Walkers sensations made it's way into my bag too.....oops!
    €16.10 to total.

ETA: I'd totally be marching back to the supermarket with a complaint about the exploding tin, along with a list of everything that was destroyed by it and it's current cost!

Would I just write to them or should I take the tins back to the shop? The tins wrappers have gone black and they smell like they're fermenting or something so I don't know how well that would go down!

ive failed. ive gone and done another mini shop so i will have gone over budget this month. it was another 22 pounds but i needed fresh fruit and salad so i can go back to a healthy diet. i did have the money though and i feel really unhealthy and spotty and fat!! so it means a total spend of 92 pounds this week instead of 63. never mind.

  • Well i've spent £1.00 today leaving me a grand total of £9.00 til next Monday (Dh's payday is Tuesday). Need to buy apples and bananas tomorrow and will need bread, milk and some more fresh fruit on Fri/Sat. Really going to try my hardest to not go over as once i go over i think I may as well realllly go over.

Changed over a few meals so I don't have to buy anything, really dont want to spend on Phillidelphia or cheese this late in the game. £231 spent out of £240.

hi...been to the bright lights of brum today....we went to think tank which was fun but thought the lunch menu was limited and quite expensive i did take some snacks and pop with us so that kept the food spend down...got some nuts from the market and had a look at the fish market which is very educational...we had a mcflurry for tea so not much food from the freezer used today

hope everyone iis enjoying half term

  • Just popping in to update my totals, spent just under £8 today in Morrisons - going to round it up to £8 for my sig.

Forgot sandwich bags and satsumas though so will need to pop back tomorrow, decent excuse for a walk to town on my lunch and will get cheap ones :)

Pay day is the 25th so new budget starts after that; starting to think about what I will need to buy already so will start my list at the weekend!
