A few grocery shops done since I last checked in - including a 'not so small' one at C0stc0 last Sunday!!
I now stand at £114.68 spent from a £192 budget. I reckon I have everything in that I need until at least next Saturday, so I should be able to stay within budget this month.......Cheryl0 -
Tonight: Coddle for him, veg mac and cheese and salad for me.
Tomorrow: Same again!
Tuesday: 5:2 day. Veg burger, small baked pot and salad -> need spuds, salad and burger buns.
Wednesday: No idea!
Thursday: 5:2 day. Veggie bolognaise (have everything)
Friday - cauli and chickpea curry, coconut rice and garlic poppadums for 8->need cauli, chutney, soy and moo milk.
Have most of the bits I need, thankfully. Will have a rummage through the presses and see if I can magic something together for Wednesday. Feeling a little uninspired atm, possibly as am still very full from dinner.0 -

did quite a big morry shop at the weekend along with a couple of visits to Ts and local sains so when i sort the receipts out it should add quite a chunk to my total spend. it wont all go on because some buys were from a different 'pot' got some picture frames, wool and toiletry sets that are earmarked as pressies so wont count them.SPC~12 ot 124

Good morning to all
I had a little spend and a little more spend which has taken me over budget now for Feb! Think I may to increase the budget as from next month. £150 a month is just not enough per month for DD2 and I per month.
Spend £ 43.60 on Fri,Sat, and Sunday which brings me to a total of £159.17 so far.Return and Restart August 2016

I've had an absolute disaster of a week and as a result have only the contents of my fridge/freezer and £4.25 to last me until Monday. Anyone ever had a no spend week?0

Hi,
I wonder if its okay to join please? I have joined the NSD challenge but what I have been finding is that my grocery budget every week has started to go over.
I don't have any debt but do live in rented accommodation and would very much like to start saving for a deposit so that is my incentive for being frugal!
There are three of us, myself and two DC under five so I have budgeted for £45 per week inc nappies, toiletries, household bits but not for school dinners.
I will try and read back through the posts but would be interested to see what other people in a similar situation spend weekly. I shop at A*di.On target for mortgage freedom September 20230
