Hope everyone ok, bit quieter here today!!
yesterday was hetic - but good in way. had appointment with consultant see for COPD, instead of going back in 3 mths, theyve extended it to 4 mths, positive!
Then Miss hoodie and I had review with GP for mediciation - worked out well as Miss hoodies eczema flared up, (partly stress), - the doc was lovely, theres 15 items on my repeat, and she went through them all anything else I needed, - did ask for the lottery numbers, but they weren't on prescription!!
Miss Hoodie now been given a spacer for her inhaluer, that help her.
Today - we've rung 2 electricians coming to give us a quote for the plugs to be moved, - the one electrician sounded quite dishy on the phone!! there coming tomorrow, so be plan B and then should be ok for the cooker again!!
Money - Just worked out just £60 short for Miss hoodies bday present, was going to be an Ipod, but shes seen a netbook - so got £140 ready with cashback and vouchers - so now no survey goes to delete without being attempted as it is going to be money free.
Just ordered her this only £13 - going as surprise for her bday!!

Just been on this website tonight - trying to get swim wear for Miss Hoodie - it is bargains galore - (had to pay £4 postage) but for £33 inc postage got
Purple Tankini top and matching bottoms
Black tankini top and matching bottoms
Black swimsuit (do for school)
Striped swimsuit black, then has black and white stripes - only £5
Flower Tankini
The black and purple were mix and match which I liked as you could do different sizes, and if you wanted bikini or tankini top, - they were the dearest and came in at £7.
We went into the ladies sizes - but clothes footwear, all bargains. I did have my eye on a tankini set for her for school Salzenger (excuse spelling), that was £10 instead of £30, didn't get it as don't know if she goes swimming in Sept, what she got now will do 1 more week, (as long as she doesn't bend too far - be a full moon!!)
The weekend - plan is to wrap Julys presents
got mum and dads
mum and daughter 50th and 21st (got presents ready - got to find them!)
engagement party - got presents
go to see SHOWADDYWADDY - 2nd row seats end of row, theres no one in front of me.......
3 weeks left at school!!....
After that I need a nice cup of tea, then bed. xxxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

Well done mum2one on the vouchers , and I love that onesie. DD has the cow one . I see people wearing then in the street is that the fashion now? I haven't got one as it seems an hassle taking it all off for loo. I remember they were called babygrows and they had poppers lol
Rufus I don't know how you do it , you always on the go. Just reading what you're upto wears me out.
Well we had a nice time at DD house sort of. OH decided to clad the bathroom. I talked him out of a full bathroom design thank gosh as we don't know any plumbers and it was practically his first attempt at DIY . Didn't fancy him flooding her house
The challengers are an interesting lot, I'm sure I can do something love miss hoodies ones .
How's the new school going?
Right ladies how you all doing with your christmas arrangements. I think I know what everyone's having ... Stuck on OH though. Men are such a pain. Apart from DS , I'll just get him gadjets
Money penny the ladybird cupcakes sounds lovely, what type of cake are you doing? And the spa and surfboards sounds interestingChallenge 2018 - Learn by heart the Book by Wayne Morgan on Amazon - Betfair Football Trading as it helps to supplement my small income :beer:0 -
There are now three Christmas and no birthday gifts left to wrap
Advent calendar is sorted: 24 assorted books, activity sets, DVDs and CDs all wrapped up and numbered. I think I'll use the same ones for years to come, subbing them out as they become too young for the youngest.
I may also have decided on the Christmas menu
All organised ready for the baby's arrival so I'm not frantic over where to find the time for anything other than decorating and card-writing in December.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Susan, there always seems to be something going on lol, Thought I would only be out half hour this morning but ended up all the whole morning lol, got the dress for ED, then YD talked me into going to the local connexions place with her, then to the hospital for her blood test, then we got a few more bits for her party, mostly for the cake. Left her to come home and realised I needed to have my medication review so went done there, 3 and half hours later I was at home. Someone has ordered a cushion so trying to get that made and ready to post off. Apart from that having an afternoon in front of tv with the tennis on in between cooking dinner.
As for Christmas, I usually have it all under way by now but so far have only got two bits done. The birthdays are getting sorted though so happy about that.0 -
Everyones so busy, Susan glad you didnt let Hubbie lose in the bathroom!! Bless him for trying.
everything going well at school, Miss hoodie came home with a pupil of the week award and a Silver certificate for her work in Maths!
They had school fete at school, she loved it, picked up couple little bits, weather just started to rain at 5pm, started at 3pm.
Electrician 1 - came today - sending a quote - dad spoke to him, but said he couldn't put his finger on it, but when spoke to him on phone - didnt feel right,
Electrician 2 - coming to give quote Tues, he's the one that sounded dishy! knowing my luck he'll be pushing 70!!
Got a table booked school fete mid july £5 table and give a gift to raffle - so hopefully should add a few pounds to the hol fund! xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Sugarspun - bet your getting excited now, not long to go. Like the advent calender book idea
mum2one - fingers crossed for the electrician, I feel a liitle romance coming on
I have had dreadful hayfever the last few days, face swelled up like elephant man at one point. Taken to driving around in car with air con on for some relief...its hard work taking tablets when your allergic to them all!!
Rufus - hope you enjoying grand prix. Just heard some news the new course is to be built in Wales....5 mile from DD`s house, that will push the prices up :-)Challenge 2018 - Learn by heart the Book by Wayne Morgan on Amazon - Betfair Football Trading as it helps to supplement my small income :beer:0 -
12 weeksish to go! I am beside-myself excited, at least partly so I can be off all the horrible medical restrictions I'm on. I have unscheduled hospital visits every time I overdo it, but I can't tell I'm overdoing it until I've overdone it. Ridiculous, it was all so much easier with the girl-child - boys seem such hard work!
I've ordered the craft supplies for the last gift, and once that comes I can make and wrap it, then the Big Craft Project (I'm making a personalised Monopoly set for DH with places he and DD go together), wrap that and then late on buy my Dad's vouchers. I might also write the cards and insert them into addressed envelopes just big enough for a picture of DD and the baby so I can photograph, print and send in December no stress.
On the plus side, with all this bedrest, my spreadsheets are looking gorgeous. Menu plan made, shopping list created and divided into shops. I will further subdivide fresh and not-fresh, I thinkOrganised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

You have all been so busy!!!! :T
Have got DH's present on E**y - trainers that he will love for £20 less than in the shop.
Got a few little bits and bobs - some books, lunch tin, jigsaw - that I have seen along the way.
Also drawn a pic for a friend that will just need framing.
Wanting to do a really good one for friends who have recently adopted their little boy so am sketching away different poses etc. Determined to make it a beauty!!
Not got any further forwards on my book bags
