    Birthdays

DONE! All the birthday shopping is done and wrapped. Some of it still needs to be dispatched to where it's eventually going but mostly all under control.

    Christmas Food - Shopping List
The best way to do the shopping list - but don't spend a penny just yet!!

Break the list down to categories
    My list:
Freezer - add a few freezer meals, have dim sum handy, cookie dough and maybe some milk for hot chocolate
Soft Drinks - crate of Coke and some juices
Mince Pies - home make these; buy mincemeat though
Christmas Dinner - maybe duck? or beef?
Boxing Day brunch - decided on booking restaurant table

=Know its early - but think about where are we, or are we going to have a house full??

    Just the immediate family.

    =Summer Sales=
    Not Shopping.

    Address Book
I think we're up to date, no one has moved since last year that I know of.

    The Present Chat
All the shopping is done except my Dad's gift - not having this chat.

    =Storage Cupboard=
I do and it is impeccably organised right now.

    Miss Hoodie's Corner
I do not want to descale everything - but I might.

this is a bit of a cheat, DD3 actually made this panel at college as part of her exam work, but its been hidden away in a folder i think its too beautiful to hide so ive had it framed for her so she can show it off.

    Thank you
she did another couple of pieces based on the disney book ferdinand the bull, a big felted piece of the bull sitting on a hil at sunset under a cork tree surrounded by flowers, the other piece i still have upstoars is three little panels, the bull, the cork tree and some flowers, one day ill frame that and borrow it to display in our landing. she has mounted the big bull piece on a canvas so has that up already.

I can't think of any easy ways (sorry!!)

Baking powder, mix to a paste with a little bit of water and smother over oven then leave for about 20 minutes. It really does work!

Thanks for tasks Mum2one and Miss Hoodie x x

Thats brilliant Mum2one, you are well on the way. I had some more Amazon vouchers, not many, but enough to order OH another of his birthday presents off his wish list. Just want to get a box set dvds now if I can get enough vouchers and he will be finished. He has had one thing already, asked for door sills for his car lol, sent me the link so I ordered them, packet came and I wouldn't have known whether they were the right thing or not so said he might as well have them now, then if they were wrong I could send them back but they were fine and he is well pleased.

Was looking through my wardrobe last night and found a pink crocheted cardigan that I had forgotten about and looks nice with my party dress. Also found a small diamante necklace and earring set that is clear/white and red stones so perfect. Spotted a black flower hair clip in 99p store the other day so going to see if that is still there as will match the bag I have.

Going up town today to meet bro and sil as they have been on holiday so havent caught up with news.
