Hi again

I was glad I cancelled my hospital test last week as I just discovered moments ago that unknown to me the local bus services had been scrapped. So I would have been standing on the bus stop in vain.

I live in the country so it's most inconvenient. There is now a 2 hourly coach but only between certain times and a different route to normal.I've got an appt next week, thank goodness I've realised in time I have to research other ways to get there.

hope everyone ok, quiet weekend here - managed to pick up infection from where had the tooth out, - go back to the dentist Tues so see what he says..

Have planned Thurs to Sun for wrapping presents.

Just had text from my cousion and shes just won 4k on bingo.......

The Xmas card writing hasn't been started - but got my new fountain pen yesterday, cheap Parker,(£6 from Amazon) but I like Fountain pens and it was a bargain, got one for Miss Hoodie as they can now use Fountain pens to write with at school, shes got my old fountain pen (£1 one not old - valuable) - she doesnt know she having one like my new one for xmas, thats unless shes gone throu my Amazon orders - thats her new trick....

Morning all, I have had a good weekend. Went out Friday and ended up buying myself a lovely winter jumper from Primark. Just what I was looking for and a good price too. First time I have treated myself to something new for a long time. Also bought some fabric from a stall for £2 a metre to make some dresses. I found a lot of fabric indoors too that I had forgotten about which would make warm winter skirts and dresses so I am going to have a go at them when I get a chance. Typical OH is back on nights again all week.

Did some more wrapping Saturday then did some sewing, made MIL a bag for Christmas so need to wrap that now.

I was out most of the day yesterday as it was ED's birthday, she liked her presents I made her. I popped in savers while up there to look for some Nivea shaving balm OH wants for xmas, he sent me a link for Amazon but it was £7 odd on there and in Savers it was £3 odd so saved myself some money.

Hope everyone ok, I've been spolit rotten by Miss Hoodie, we went to the theatre last ngt, there was me sat with snood thing round me gob, at least it was dark, she treated me to an icecream in the interval.

Tonight - I had a tear in my eye, she been to Home Bargains with dad and she brought a packet mix for mini strawberry cupcakes, - she got dad to help her make them, I was barred from the kitchen (not complaining!!) - they were gorgeous.

Being a male - he couldn't multi-task so I had to wait for a cup of tea!!

Been very good and got all the presents out of the shed, under the table, from side of bed, and separted them into boys, mens, ladies - at rough guess only "mislaid" one bag - think its upstairs

next stage - is to bag the persons individually then over weekend get them wrapped, just tried to make sure that haven't had to go far to give this tooth best chance of healing - it hurts a bit, but nothing like the 1st one, - so touch wood.

One of my friends keep saying I need to be organised, so found a folder, plastic inserts and have started doing her the challenges, budget planner - and got her a cookbook 4 ingredinents for Christmas xx

I have been making some dresses, have finished two of them, just cutting out the second one for sewing up over the weekend.

Its eldest grandson's birthday today - 14!! Cant believe it!! I am going round there tomorrow to see him in the afternoon for a bit of cake.

Off out this morning to see if I can get some fabric to make some new cushions for the front room and a table runner for the dining room.

Bought a nice roll of wrapping paper to do OH's bits not that I have got a lot of them at the moment, but they have been a bit pricey so he won't be getting so many this year.

sounds like everyones plans are really coming together
rufus your eldest DGS shares the day with my DD1 (shes older) hope you have a lovely time sharing cake with him, where going round DD1s but i think it will be a bottle we share.

mum2one sounds like miss hoodie and your Dad had a lovely time in the kitchen - glad you enjoyed the results of their baking session.

hope everyone else is getting on well with their plans and managing to stay warm

if you have anything planned for children in need hope it goes well.

Angela - I have the same problem as you DS is coming for dinner. Dd might and the other two def no. So there'll be 3 for dinner which is weird as I can get upto 15! The problem is I'll probably cook for 15

Well I don't know where my head is ... That's why I been quiet. The doc gave me new tablets ... I'm allergic to contents in tablets which rules out painkillers. Here try these she said they're man made you'll be ok. Take 100g a day. Working up from there to an higher dose. I took 50g , boy have I been ill and what an argumentative horrible person I've been. Huccinations were amazing .. Not... Dreams... A few nights thought I was having heart attacks the chest pains so severe. OH found me a few times lying on the carpet with my head on the wood flooring!!! Why? Who knows. So two weeks later, I give up. I was getting to the point of having suicidal thoughts... Something I've never done.

Sorry about that was having a moment

Anyhow I am not taking them again do back to the drawing board

Blimey Susan, sounds like a nightmare. I am glad none of my tablets I take do that to me. Hope you feel better soon xx

I got a photo frame today for fil's photo, was £2 in charity shop, leather frame, very smart. Also found 5 bags of baubles for £3 for our new tree.
