Hi moneypenny - its gorgeous - heres the ones I purchased, I got 3 in total, they were such a good price and I love them aim to start them as soon as I make some cards

    kits

Angela - I made 10 cards yesterday and I`m still hopeful of making more. I will get until 10th december and then thats it, if they not out by then I`ll buy some. I have a problem with all tablets as I am allergic to opium and caffeine (so that all of them) every so often they get a new one to try and I`m the guinea pig. Those buses sound a nightmare

mum2one - its good the infections gone from 1 , fingers crossed for 2. Make sure you get it sorted asap

lol At rufus, have images of you dismantling kitchen. In my first house was in kitchen one day making a friend a sandwich and banged my elbow on the wall. I thought thats it, he heard lots of banging . I was knocking the wall down, wanted to do it but hadn't made a start

Those kits look amazing, I wouldn't have the patience, - I'm with you on sewing challenge, need to learn how to use the sewing machine, - can hand stitch enough to get by, but thats baout it.

Hope your feeling better, sounds like those tablets were a nightmare, hope you get sorted soon. After my last visit to consultant for asthma, he's now referring me to another clinic as he thinks I have food intolerances, due to the range of items that sent me into allergy attacks, although now taking ceterzine daily reduced the need for epi pens, - thou carry for emergency. hence the dentist hestistate to give me any antibiotics - so its mouth wash and take care.

It seems I'm averaging 2 weeks for each to get right - last on 3rd Dec - so thats a week b4 xmas - get sorted before then.

Can not believe you've made 10 cards today.

Love the kit you've done on the blog, - we got a wack of those tissues the other ngt (30 pcks) great bargain for house. xx

    Hello Ladies

Susan that's a real nuisance allergic to painkillers. Have you ever tried homeopathy? I know a lot of people say it's rubbish but I've used it years back for some ailments and it was like a miracle cure. But it can be hit and miss if you get the right combination/dose. And pricey if you get the wrong ones.

Wow, 3 kits!!! They look really nice. You've made a lot of progress with the cards.

Mum2one - I hope you get those nightmare allergies sorted, at least the doctors sounds interested to explore allergies, intolerances etc some of them say keep a diary - which isn't a lot of use if it's environmental as well as foods.

What tissues are your talking about?

I also wondered if Rufus was happy about her OH's choices or not.

I finally went food shopping today, the cupboards and freezer (apart from Christmas bits) were bare. The minus side was lugging 4 bags of shopping to the pub as my friends wanted to see me. I wasn't really in the mood for chatting and wanted to get home.

For anyone that is into button phones, I noticed Mr T has a display rack -unlocked phones, the Samsung is £9 if you get a O2 sim. I bought a Samsung a while back when I was seeing the last b/f as he was on Vodaphone and when I got a V. sim I could talk to him for only £5 a month unlimited minutes.

Mrs M - you're doing great with the stocking. Your DD's cakes are really good I looked at them all.

The tissues - there only 5p a pack in Home bargains - if you go onto Susans blog, the ladies gift set (inc shampoo, conditioner sachets) the tissues are in there. There pocket sized and brilliant value.

I have been organised tonight, chasing up 2 orders that haven't come from Amazon, - brought through a seller from Amazon, sods law there both from same seller.
1 x silver flower bracelet £4 - Miss Hoodies tap teacher
1 x Dolphin bracelet £6 - so unusual - as we swam with Dolphins in Dom rep and Miss Hoodie loves them. So if not her by Monday make a claim, sods law the alternatives are double the price...

Been a bit naughty... ordered a new dress for myself £35 inc postage, love the clothing and haven't brought one for 2 years so having a treat for all the tooth saga!!

    http://holyclothing.com/index.php/dresses/shop-by-color/black/5x/black-midnight-ena-empire-waist-renaissance-gothic-long-sun-dress-5x.html

All bills paid till end of month, - just car ins to do, had renewal very impressed with, as when I tried price comparison couldn't get cheaper but sure there is always a discount!!....

    xx

Bit of good news, just put a claim through amazon for the 2 missing bracelets and they honoured the claim straight away, - ordered replacements worked out about £3 more (bit annoying) but I needed them and can't get 2 silver bracelets for that price.

    Also treated myself to
    spoon shaped silcone mould
    rose chocolate mould
set of 24 mini choc shapes

As were doing some food hampers this year, there soon pay themselves back, xx

It is good of him Mum2one, but I would like the chance to choose the kids presents really. It gets a bit much when I dont have any say in what we buy them seeing as they are my grandchildren.

This only feels like yesterday that we started this thread and yet here we are again with Novembers Santas Challenge basicaly the last one to get everything organised for 2014 Christmas so here goes.

    Weather
It looks like it could be cold welly and thermals weather, so any prep that can be done to prevent pipes freezing here goes
    • Outside taps are covered (I use Miss Hoodies old armband blown up over the putdoor tap), Check drain covers that there not blocked my leaves.
      Central Heating is working ok
Have a torch ready by fuse box incase of power cut

      Supermarket Shopping
We literally have 4 weeks of shopping left, I know its only one day, but if your having visitors, its ideal to have a few base items extra (toilet rolls, coffee, sugar etc

      Prescriptions
Anyone who needs regular prescriptions, pre-order them in, if your ordering out of normal time, just pop a note with the prescription request that your on holiday, or allowing for Christmas and New Year closure

      Doctors etc
Have a list of up to date telephone numbers, not just your GP prarice, but if you have a walk in centre, as there open 365 days a year..

Chemists - its ok getting the last minute prescription on Christmas Eve, but its knowing what chemists are open. (I hope we don't need one, but handy to know who is or isn't open

      First Aid Kit
Hopefully your have the basics according to what you need in the house, I can highly vouch for the diarrohea relief tablets at home bargains (59p for a box of 6)

      Smoke Alarms
Not just for "Dinners Ready" - but check the smoke alarm, if you have a battery alarm it is recommended that the batteries are changed every 12 months.

      Emergency Presents
hopefully we all have something as an emergency, make sure you knwo where they are so if needed you can just add a tag and no-one non the wiser!! If not needed they can either be carried forward to 2014 or a treat for yourselves depending on the spare

      Cards and Posting
Apologies but after reading a news article it says that Royal Mail are missing targets for posting.... so earlier we can post the better.

      From the Royal Mail website

      LAST POSTING DATES

WED 18TH DECEMBER 2ND CLASS POST AND 2ND CLASS SIGNED FOR (RECORDED DELIEVERY

FRI 21ST DECEMEBER 1ST CLASS POST AND 1ST CLASS SIGNED FOR (RECORDED

MON 23RD DEC - SPECIAL DELIEVERY NEXT DAY GUARANTEED

    PRESENTS
Hopefully we're all getting sorted and are on the wrapping phases,
    check whether batteries are needed,
    keep receipts safe (guarantee)

    ONLINE ORDERING
I know this may sound daft, but check if your ordering anything on line for delievery dates, as it can be 3 weeks for items from China if ordering from eBay or Amazon

    =Surveys etc=
Again you may be due a payout, but whether it will arrive before Christmas, as some companies do weekly pay out runs, others monthly, and your also up against other people that are saving their points for Christmas and so I would say if it comes before Christmas its a bonus, if late, its a start to 2014 spends

    BILLS
As Christmas posting is approaching us, its worth keeping an eye out for bills, as there is a chance they could go astray or turn up late, so if you can check back a couple of bank statements - see when you pay any regular bills that come in and have back up plan (telephone or bank transfer)

    2014 LIST

This may sound totally mad, but as we're so organised, soend 5 minutes setting up a Birthday and Christmas List (I have a spreadsheet if anyone wants a copy - just pm me with your email and I will send a copy), it doesn't have to be a full sheet, but even names and budgets just to give an idea, as this will come into play at Christmas.

    ARRANGEMENTS
If you haven't managed to pin down where you are this is the time, so you can make sure your not in 2 places at once, or if your cooking you know how many people your cooking for.

    MISS HOODIES CORNER
It wouldn't be a challenge without a Miss Hoodie cleaning challenge, as your clearing out the cupboards and the hiding places where you have stored those Christmas presents, is give these a Spring clean and dont use them to chuck junk in!!!
    [/COLOR

    Share the Load
I know were superwoman, but if you can get someone to help you, grab them, whether its peeling the veg, taking the dog for a walk, or even holding the sellotape, grab that hand.

    =Christmas Box=
I try to keep sellotape, scissors, cello bags, bubble wrap all in one bag, so that everyone knows thats the Christmas bag do not touch....

    Decembers Santas Challenge

I know we normally put the challenge on the 24th, but I'm sure Christmas Eve we'll be resting!! (ok we can dream) or being superwoman... I'll put Decembers challenge on the 1st weekend of December. xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
