Cinema went really well, thou not my choice of film - Cloudly with a chance of meat balls 2, it was ok and Miss Hoodie enjoyed it, which is all that matters.

Just sorted out some free xmas shopping, - redeemed my points on maxi-miles
Dispacable me 2 (blue ray) (on Amazon £15)
Jelly Bean Sweets (guessing they'd be at least £8)
There both going for Miss Hoodies stocking

and treated myself to a set of shaped cake tins, heart, square and circle.

    ----
Back to sorting out Xmas prezzies tomorrow.... help xx

Money penny - what a gorgeous cake , well done DD. My busicila? Kits have come, how's yours getting along?

Mum2one - glad you had a good outing and very mse well done

Angela - how's your present hunting going? Think I've sorted all mine just about. Did you sort the bus out, that's a nightmare when they change schedules

Rufus- good job on the baubles, how come when I goto charity shops I find nothing? And I have a big imagination what I can do with things.

As I make a lot of Xmas things ( all year round) lol I decided to treat myself to a couple of cooking books and a sewing book , cooking I'm ok at but sewing ....nightmare. I don't want to make big things just some straight line things will do. So next year that's my target. I'm also going to make more cards as I have still only made two Xmas cards :-( and I can see me buying them at this rate

On a positive note I made some lovely pamper hampers as stocking fillers for 'the girls' in my family. Note to self , remember to photograph them as they came in under a £1 and look fab even if I say so myself lol

Thank you for all your well wishes re tablets. Got an appointment with doc next week but I don't want to try more tabs this close to Xmas as I still feel queasy from the last lot. Can't believe how taking tabs for a week knocks your body about

I can imagine Susan with the tablets, my doctor keeps changing mine around and half the time I dont know whether I am coming or going. Just made an appointment to see if they will refer me to the hospital again to see a different doctor this time.

We are decorating yet again lol, wanted to get a new cooker (gas) but they wouldnt deliver it until we got rid of the cupboard next to it (the connector was inside the cupboard) and get rid of wallpaper above it. I knocked the cupboard out this morning with a bit of an effort, OH tidied it up when he got back this morning. ED's bf is tiling the wall behind on Saturday.

OH is at the moment painting the ceiling in the living room, dont know why but he is lol.

Got a couple more little Christmassy bits up town this afternoon, got a gold glittery reindeer ornament for the front room and two sets of medium sized bells, one gold one red. They were all in 99p shop. I am going to undo the wires the bells are on and see if I can fix some of them into my table decoration I made as it needs a bit of sparkle. The rest I will hang on the tree.

    Hi everyone

Susan I am so glad that you sound better in your last post, strange that after I mentioned a few weeks back about those antibiotics making me feel ill and having a dental infection then mum2one also has one then you have a problem with pills too. Your experience sounded horrendous thank goodness you didn't hurt yourself too much if your OH found you on the floor.

You've only made 2 cards so far - are you going to make the next 100 or so in the next few weeks or give up for this year?

I've been awol from the thread as I've felt so rough. The dental pain kept getting worse and I also had very bad tongue and sore throat which the dentist said was a side effect from the pills. By the time I had some treatment on Monday I was in problems as I also had a bad headache after Saturday when I had alcohol, first time in weeks. Obviously it doesn't agree with me at all.

I had a very bad toothache on Tuesday so stayed in and spend hours online trying to find the timetables for the new bus I found out about. Waste of time because on Wednesday it turned out there were 3 buses and not one (as per the timetable) and I nearly got on the wrong one, I got drenched in the bus shelter as the heavy rain meant cars going past splashed me head to toe  and I had a similar fiasco going home afterwards with the bus supposed to be arriving at 1620 in bay 13 went to bay 10 at 1600, I got on that wondering where I'd end up as it was the wrong number. Fortunately I got home.

When I got off that bus I had a very bad dizzy spell, think it was because the bus was very bright with lights and it was dusk when I got off and it felt like I was disorientated.

I spent most of today lying down now it was more of the cold or whatever I have the dentist thinks is down to those pills. .

One good thing I bought an unexpected pressie for DS2 in The Works. I'd been browsing for about an hour at books for myself and overheard a man talking on the phone about a jigsaw about Bristol and when I saw him go and look for it I went straight over. It was £9.99 and shows all the different landmarks in a cartoon style. Have to admit I found them hard to identify but at least did spot a few places I recognise. DS2 loves books with pictures of Bristol and going there so it seems like a good idea.

After the dentist on Monday I bought a couple of books for Dad, hope they will be ok.

I brought up Christmas Day with mum, saying that I probably wouldn't be doing it as before she said it will be good for them to be able to eat whenever they want at home. There is something else that cropped up, I will write another time to ask your opinions - this post is turning out too long.

Mum2one, how is your tooth now? I know what you mean about multi tasking problems for some people. Dare I ask how many cupcakes you ate lol

Rufus, as usual it seems you've been very busy, so has OH with the painting. Have you sorted all the bits for your hampers for the boys?

Mrs M that's a very professional looking cake.

Angela - Sorry to hear you've been in the wars as well, sounds a mess with the bus timetable.

Susan - Hope your feeling better, and fingers crossed the doc gets your tablets sorted.

Rufus - Good luck with the cooker - we had ngtmare with ours, from plugs to units, we got there in the end... if OH into decorating, tell him to take a year off work and send him to us.... Keep him busy!

The toothache - good news infection gone from extraction 1, extraction 2 playing up, at least get break for a couple of weeks.

Sort of came to a standstill with the presents, everything just seems to be in slow motion - the plan was sort them out to individual presents then wrap in one go. We're get there.

Got my free cake tins - redemmed loyalty points, ordered box of 3 cake tins, jelly beans and discipable me 2, cake tins for me, rest for Miss Hoodie xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

    Hi everyone,
Anglea, we had a change of plan for the boys, well OH did, he went and bought them presents without even asking me so I didnt get a say in it all after all. Still they are done.
We only have two presents to buy for others now, something for my dad (he already had a cd/dvd but will get him something to open) and something for great nephew who is 17

Hi moneypenny - its gorgeous - heres the ones I purchased, I got 3 in total, they were such a good price and I love them aim to start them as soon as I make some cards

    kits

Angela - I made 10 cards yesterday and I`m still hopeful of making more. I will get until 10th december and then thats it, if they not out by then I`ll buy some. I have a problem with all tablets as I am allergic to opium and caffeine (so that all of them) every so often they get a new one to try and I`m the guinea pig. Those buses sound a nightmare

mum2one - its good the infections gone from 1 , fingers crossed for 2. Make sure you get it sorted asap

lol At rufus, have images of you dismantling kitchen. In my first house was in kitchen one day making a friend a sandwich and banged my elbow on the wall. I thought thats it, he heard lots of banging . I was knocking the wall down, wanted to do it but hadn't made a start
