bunbun, they seem to have done away with the free items, all you get in the emails now are paid for items and they don't work out cheap not with postage added on. I have totally given up ordering from them these days xx

Hi! I've been watching everything for a while and made some crafts myself following your examples so thanks a lot everyone for the ideas :) I know there was a post about how to make some humbug sweets gift wrap but I can't seem to be able to find it :( Can anyone help me on that one?

    Hi all

Angela- how flattering , being commented on your out fit , well done you, glad you had a great time

Bunbun- I think vp twigged and free items are gone. Think the pens are and if you go via Quidco / tcb , there's £5 in it
Shame really as I used them a lot. I have read on the grabbit board that photo calendars are cheaper other places, but depends who got offers on where

    I hope that made sense

Blab ah - I think you mean bah humbug sweets where some humbugs were put in a cello bag and a label attached to the top saying bah humbug. Or even mints with a saying 'your friendship worth a mint to me' can't find the link at the moment. Think it on my other machine.

Mrs money penny - loving that stocking, can't believe how quick it's coming along. I know how time consuming they are. If I started now I d have a job to finish it by next year

These are simple for a loved one

susan42 - the sweets were put in a triangle shaped thingy made from 2 colours line paper. I know I thought the triangle shaped thingy was very easy to do at that moment because it was nice explained but now I can't remember how to do it :(

    Hi blabla

    I remember , there's a photo here

    Humbug

I've also used a two tone brown paper striped. I rolled a sheet of paper into a tube. Sealed the other end , filled with sweets and then turned it 90 degrees and sealed

    Hi all

Mrs M - I love the stocking and all the different images. I hope your friend will appreciate all your hard work.

Susan you always come up with some interesting ideas and everything looks really good when its finished.

Monday I had a really funny time out how we didn't get asked to leave the restaurant I'll never know - it was a birthday and a friend with special needs had drank too much during the day and was very loud, accidentally knocked over his chair, then kept dropping his loose change over the floor as soon as it was picked up, he dropped it again then went outside to smoke and fell backwards off the wall etc. Then I accidentally threw my dessert over the table as I was handing it to him as I didn't want it lol

On Tuesday I did all the Dec 2013 envelopes for DS, plus all the birthday ones January 2014, plus wrote out the themes on envelopes for Dec 2014. So for once, I'm up to date with this task, all I need do next time is write on the plastic ziplok bags to go inside. Then I met up with friends and when I got home had a cleaning frenzy after watching a segment of that tv show where people with cleaning OCD go to help out extremely cluttered homes.

I was out reallly late yesterday annoyed to walk back in the pitch dark, sure they must have changed the times of the lights so today I hope to do some more Christmas stuff this evening as I've got an emergency dentist appt later on and won't be in the mood to socialise.

I wonder how mum2one is getting on.

Hi echo - I'm ashamed to say I've not made any cards yet. I usual make around two - three hundred . Can't see that happening this year. One year I made 400 was asked to give half of them to the army in Germany scouts to see at their Xmas fair for funds. The postage was :-0.

    Two to three HUNDRED?!?!?!

    WOW!! That's epic!!!

We made 25 and I was really proud!! :rotfl:

Those are for family and close friends and others will be having a bought card from the charity shop about 2 years ago (did that thing where I stashed them so well I couldn't find them for the next Christmas!)
