Right I`m ranting lol.:mad::mad: I want to make some sweet trees so checked out prices and Mak roasty was cheapest for what I want. So OH said he`d take me as I cant drive at the moment. Got there and had 5 things on my list, they had one:mad::mad:

The reindeer bark - melted chocolate - top with crushed candy canes, but when you break up, apparently your to do it in shards so it looks like tree branches....

Good news - the car passed its MOT (with a bit of help - middle bit of the exhaust) apparently it was ready to drop off!! - That could have been fun - as dad took the car - they gave hi £5 discount for being an OAP! (£130) Thanks dad!!

nanny Hoodie - still sore with her hand, the bruising all coming out, shes having her bandage changed 2mor, and stitches out next week. Then follow up 8/10weeks at hospital.

Sew and Stitch - brought the 1st one - 99p looks fab, love the 3 fabric samples, thinking of making a make up brush roll with them, the seside scence outside, red spotted inside layer and green spotted that be the slide in bit for brushes...thou wont be paying £4 for the next one...

The gloves - there suppose to be a minion from Despicable me 2 movie, she wants gloves and a hat...

could be fun!! will put a photo on when done... xx

Rufus, I had a *younger* man interested once - until i told himI couldnt have any more children then he skuttled back in to the friend zone Tee hee!!

I have a few alterations to do to some school stuff this week but I did find my bag of stuffing that I managed to put away safely! So I can start on my pillow as soon as I have done the alterations. I am a minimalist sewer, my hands are very bad so it takes a long time. I admit I am thinking wonder web....

I did manage to get a few bits at a car boot this weekend. I now have 6 things in my cupboard and 2 boxes of COOKS mince pies in the freezer. They are on offer if anyone has one near them 2 for £6

As for living by the sea, yes I am lucky, I would never go inland now

willow - organised on the computer and the list - but the presents are between shed, under dining room table, loft, top of my wardrobe, and half of mums wardrobe.... when we sort out - be help!!

Rufus that is interesting about you and OH.

The lads that ask me out are in their early 20's. That would make the age gap about 30 years or more! The youngest I've been out with so far is that latest, 19 years gap. He's still awol and I know if he ever makes contact I cannot keep seeing him.

It's good that you can make really nice and useful presents like those bags.

My goodness mum2one, you sound organised. How many hampers are you going to make? I'm wondering how you are going to get everything for £30?

Funny you mentioned Dawlish Warren as some friends from the pub have just returned from there.

And what is a minion?

Willow - is wonderweb strong enough for a cushion? I've had problems with it for my projects.

Craft club tomorrow, will be doing more cutting out as didn't manage to get the envelopes I needed to start the collages.

I'm making all my cards but I have done my list today and bought all the bits that I need to create them so I'll start doing those this week.

This is my parents job atm but it works.... yay

Presents
Not been able to start this yet as I have only just done my list but I've been listing what I want to get people.

Meal Planning
I'm looking at houses at the moment so I don't know if I will need this challenge or not yet.

Added to the list a couple of emergency bottles of wine with a small box of chocolates. I can always have those myself if I have to

1st pair of minion gloves finished, but they look ok but not 100% happy with them but my friend loves minions so she'll have a little surpirse at weekend, so now on pair 2 adding my own touches and there looking a lot better, so when done will add a photo! xx

Christmas Food - Shopping List
This is something I really need to do. I’ve been really bad this year and saved on a card/stamps like normal and I’m feeling a bit worried about it if I’m honest L


Address Book
I don’t send many cards or presents so don’t need many but SIL is moving in 6-8 weeks so will need to attack her asap for the address!

The Present Chat
I think we know who we’re buying for. Compared to a lot of you I don’t have to buy for many:-
DH, DD, DS, Mum and dad, MIL, Bil, Niece, Nephew x 2, are my main presents.
I will need to do family photos for – grandparents x 2, uncles/aunts x4, parents x2, siblings x2.
Teacher presents – 2x women for DD, 5 x women for DS in 2 separate places.

=Storage Cupboard=
I have one for Christmas/birthday presents I just need to redo my list and update my online list.

August Challenge

Christmas Cards
I’m writing my list of cards that I need to buy so I can within the next week. I also need to get DH’s birthday card because he’s 2nd January and I can never get a decent card from me or the children!

Pretty sure I have enough from last year but will check over this week and update my list if required.

Central Heating
House is already freezing so had to use it already, winter duvets on too and winter coats and jumpers coming out


Presents
I have DS’s birthday next week so need to sort out whats going for birthday and what will be Christmas, then need to re do the list of what I have and what I want. Still trying to decide DD (age6 and 10 months) BIG present but we’ll see.

Meal Planning
We are currently discussing where and who will be where this year but I think it’s us 4 at home for the holidays and the week after may be travelling.

I have children’s spare presents so that’s all sorted its just adults really but I wouldn’t expect to need any but may just in case.

freezer – I’m currently freezing a load of items/sauces etc from our allotment harvest so it’s pretty up to date and doesn’t need de – icing as it is frost free and we never get any frost.
