I did a cheats bag and put together, - the men had a bottle of beer, then there was a jar of sweets (plastic jars from ebay, stickers saying thank you for sharing our day from vistarint, asda value sweets, then the ladies had a gift bag - keyring, 2 candles, purse tag, homemade necklace, and peg with notepad set - each bag worked out £2.50 to do, most went to 1 per couple saved some pennies.

Miss Hoodie made the cake and decorated it, it all went down, one of mums cousins asked mum for the number of the person who made the cake as she wants one for her 60th bday!! Could rent Miss Hoodie out! xx

    Hi Ladies

Clare, that's a fantastic cake, so much thought and details, bet everyone loved it.

Rufus, well done on your weight loss :T nice to see you again on here.

Kitchenbunny, are the wrapped pressies for Christmas or birthdays?

mumtoOne - your Sunday lunch seemed yummy. Crikey Miss Hoodie will be on Junior Masterchef before long with her cakes. That car sticker is very unusual lol

I did a few things on my list since I last posted- saw advice person and sorted bag of stuff from dining table pre-Xmas, vacuumed downstairs, got bag returned I accidentally left with someone else.

Brill, thanks for that! Sounds great!

Love a bargain - trying to convince some work mates and friends to come on one of the Murder Mysteries I work, but you're looking at £40 per person (for 3 course meal, coffee and entertainment, but still, this time of year....). Happened to email the hotel it's run at checking availability for the date we're looking at, and casually mentioned that I was one of the actors who do the murders, and he offered my 25% off for each of my friends!!!! Was so chuffed, mainly because it was so unexpected! lol

    Hope you're all well!

Claire - thats a brilliant offer, I would love to go to one of those murder mystery events, bet there fab.

Had a nice surpise 2ngt, found £55 in a bank account that I thought only had £1 in it, - which is brilliant as changing car on Friday, bit o swop around, I'm buying my friends daughters b/friends car, then was going to scrap mine, but dads having mine as its better nick than his (thats a miracle!!), so going to scrap his - mum thought she was having new car - no - its mine, its a 52 plate - big jump from an M reg! So what ever dad gets in scrap goes off my new car.

So weekend be swopping all tax discs, insurance - all fun and games. so a very skint yr, - still got £450 left owing from Lapland but it was worth every penny.

On thrifty front - Miss Hoodie has painted her 1st 2 tealight holders ready for xmas prezzies, she's done a really good job on them. So they've got to dry. Then we've got some mugs (59p) home bargains ready to decorate and some coasters (£2 for 8) match the mugs - ready for xmas.

Its Boots 75% sale tomorrow, - grab your bargains and see if theres any presents you can knock off your list. xx
