Hi, no we didnt see much of the celebrations. We did walk past the gazebos all together with the different forces but both being RAF born and bred we know what out forces do for us. I suppose. yes it was extremely windy which had its chilly moments but we did have a pint outside a bar near the ferris wheel. we ate fish and chips by the pier too. I did find it strange that the waters are so brown. My memories of the sea are greens and blue being lucky enough to live in Kenya and Cyprus as a child.
Cant imagine why I would be so high up on Google.
Maybe I better put more effort into blogging and my website? You never know who might find me.
I have had a relaxing weekend, two in a row. Amazing.
I am beginning to feel my old self again at last. Ready to start the next week with a bit more enthusiasm, and with a bit more emphasis on getting ready to create a few more bits and bobs from my fabric stash. Maybe even make some more clothes for the grand children and if I want clothes for me. Inbetween work catch up. No work, no pay.
    I feel better today.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

:rotfl: the reason for the colour of the water at Weston-super-Mare is that you're not really at the seaside, you're more in the Bristol Channel, and there's a whole heap of mud all around!!! No sand, just mud ...

Today was all about twin2 and sorting out her bills etc. filling in court papers and food shopping for her for the next two weeks. Managed to get it in her ESA payments today. But will need to use my money next week.
Had forms to do about the boys so she was quite upset.
Day has come home with me today and helped me put the paddling pool up for DGD. May have to put my feet in too!
Back to work tomorrow and get some hours in. Make up for last weeks losses.

Hello, sorry I am OK. Yes August is the holidays. I have just been very tired and by the time I have been to work, played Taxi driver, chief cook and bottlewasher I have had enough. But I am improving. Twin2 has been engsging with everyone, we managed to get her a 3 month sick note. But still no ESA assessment so she is still on the lower rate. Managed to get a 13 week discretionary on her rent payments, for the bedroom tax, but to help clear the debt ee are still paying the same amount, however I heard from the debt councillor that the housing still intend to take her to court on Tuesday. I pray the court will not evict now that I have taken control of the money. I take her food shopping, so I have mire to do but it stops the stress of knowing whether or not she has food etc in the house.
Twin 1's BF is up visiting again, and next week she will go back with him to visit his family. So once again I have a few free days from DGD as she is visiting her Mum. Having 3 weekends on the trot has helped me to get better and feel stronger.
DS is still not getting any benefits so I am still footing the bills.
We go to see that other Blacksmith on Monday. I was having nightmares last night that everything got in the way and we didn't make it.
Biggest of Mooloo and I went shopping together on Wednesday and I bought myself a new dress, cardi, and bikini. The first clothes for me this year. I decided to treat myself as it is my birthday in a few days time.
DsS is finally making friends in our town so seems to be a little more out going and there are youngsters calling for him now.
S poke with my parents and my brother on Skype yesterday, its his birthday, so It was good to see them and that always lifts my spirits.
Just going to relax today and will be back to the grind stone Monday. I have been sewing lots too. apart from work I made three little pillowcase dresses for the grandchildren. and one for Biggests BF's little girl as they have her on a weekend.
So its like having 3 granddaughters now.

Glad to hear you are feeling better, I hope it continues.

Such a shame that you have to take control for peace of mind...... but if that is what it takes ;)

Today was a tiring day for me driving over to Oxfordshire twice. Four hours of driving takes it out of me. Had a sleep between journeys or I wouldnt have managed.
The good thing is DS got his work experience at the blacksmith. He has also been given a contact number for a newly qualified blacksmith who they trained who has set up here in the town. Although he couldn't employ DS currently he may be able to get some practice in without the extra travelling. So all in all I hope that it will have been worth the time, effort and extra fuel costs.
DGD had a good weekend with Twin 1 and her BF. They went to the Fair on Friday and swimming on Saturday, although she has complained of ear ache so I will keep an eye on her and get her to the doctors tomorrow if necessary.
Two of my things sold on ebay so they have been parceled up and posted today. Well mine I say, but really they were Biggest of Mooloo´s really.
But at the maiden bids of 99p we wont be getting rich ant time soon.

We managed to have the house reposession suspended at the moment as I am making regular payments on the arrears for twin2. She will soon be able to get on the house transfer list. She doesn't want to and cried that her house was her connection to the boys. I had to try to explain that she was only actually there with them for a few weeks and that she has their photos, some clothes and toys(alas) so she doesn't need the house that costs her so much to run etc and said we can make a smaller place better and furnish it with prints of them. Pictures can go on most things like cushions, canvases and mugs if she really must. I still went to work so only missed an hour which wasn't too bad and I hope to make the time up tomorrow.
Today I am splashing the cash again on myself and going for a massage. Wanted one on my birthday but she isn't open on a Monday so this was best day I could get in.
DS went to see the new Blacksmith and his basic set up. No work available yet but they will rent him out the Furness as and when so he can get practice on without travelling so far. He can walk from here. He is rather upset at the moment as his best friend tried to commit suicide yesterday. Thank god unsuccessfully. He was found 12 hours after going missing and sending his goodbye text, by the railway tracks. Terrible thing for a youngster to be contemplating. His girlfriend left him for someone else apparently.
DGD mastered riding her bike yesterday without stabilisers. Today she is going on a school trip to a farm.
Friday we have a family picnic at school and an early finish yet they have to go back to sch Mon and Tues.

Nothing new to report today. Still working as much as I can. Tomorrow is the school picnic and an early finish from then for DGD.
We had a visit from a film company at the recycling centre and they may be doing a documentary on our work. Was out of the blue and but scarey to think we may be being filmed next week. If they are there on the times I am in.
