Just had a few of the mums from school around for sandwiches, tea and cake! Great relaxed banter in the garden. Boy it's a hot one out there.
Thanks for all the lovely wishes!
Have a lovely dress and some jewellery, and big box of smellies, along with a couple of bottles of wine too.

Morning, I had a good day all in all. My parents and brother skyped me from their garden in France in the evening. Only disappointment was that I didn't hear from twin 1 at all. Out of sight, out of mind I suppose.
The thunder has arrived here, it's rumbling away out there this morning. I heard heavy rain in the night, so at least I won't have to water the plants this morning.
Last day of school for DGD. Then 6 weeks to fill, although we have Portugal to look forward too for the last two weeks. Changing my work days to two back to back to free up the week a bit. Enabling us to go out and about, circumstances permitting. Starting today and tomorrow.

Well I didn't get to work as after a discussion with the boss there wasn't enough work sorted ready for me to go. So wages down over £50 this week.
Spent the morning doing the ironing. My pet hate.
Then sorting out twin2's bills etc then DS, to town as he has gardening to do, except the rain has come so will he get much done?
This morning I am planning on making more bibs ready for the next craft stall.

Monday is pay twin2's renters say. Her next money comes in tomorrow. We seam to be coping anyway.
I have done a few alterations and been keeping myself busy making bandana bibs. Today we had the dentist for our 6monthly check up. DGD has a few more wobbly front teeth but that's normal for her age, and mine passed muster but going back for a clean on a couple of back teeth.
Still haven't heard anything from twin 1 but see from Facebook she is home.
The carer has broken her wrist so they are trying to find a replacement carer for the next 4 weeks. Least they told me this time.
Biggest of Mooloo is waiting for an MRI scan to check for a prolapsed disc from her accident at work in April. She has trouble feeling her legs at the moment and lifting DGD2 is a nightmare.
DS seems to have given up even bothering to re register to sign on and is really bugging me at the moment.
I am currently stopping over in Oxford with a friend for a few days each week. Help with DGD and a space between me and my other stresses.
Counting the days to our holiday.
Hopefully there will be enough work for me this week after last weeks mess ups. Especially as I have the extra 50 miles to add to my trip. At least my arm is coping and the sciatica is staying away. Getting to walk more and more around the park and city. Weather permitting.
Bibs on eBay and Etsy. Well one set is. Pink versions need the poppers first.
The rest will be ready for the tabletop sale on the 10th.

Better the devil you know I suppose. He didn't stay away long at the beginning of the year but things have been tentative and we will see. He asked me/us to spend the summer with him when he had come to give me all my stuff back! Ha must have been March time. Seems so long ago but isn't really. But we will see. Don't really want to jinx things, but am well aware of his habits to back away several times a year so we will see.
Work yesterday was rather disheartening as there was only one of the girls was there for the first hour, she's disgruntled and is leaving soon. No work had been sorted for me so we gathered things first and then she went to the market and I was on my own to create.
Molly looked after DGD for some of the time yesterday so we managed a quick cuppa and catch up before I got to go and take twin 2 food shopping.
Twin1 needed some basics since she got home as well, so we called in on her briefly. It was gone 7pm before we got home. It was about 8 before we got DGD to bed.
DS has been given some work today at the new blacksmiths. He may be able to rent use of the forge at a later date.
Today I am back at work, and will just have to make what I can if they haven't sorted me anything out.
At home I have plenty of projects to work on and have two of my machines with me in Oxford. (When I go back there later.)
Biggest of Mooloo is off work again with her back, she has an MRI scan on the 9th. Physio thinks its a couple of prolapsed discs as a result of that accident in April at work.
That's me up to date now I think.

Yesterday was another busy day. Getting up and taking DGD over to her mum while I went to work. Spent the morning in the other unit sorting out clothes for the vintage garms, the market stall and the retrendable before lunch and then creating my magic in the afternoon. Both girls were in but neither were in the best of moods. I got a thumping headache and it was a day to struggle. Drove back and collected dGD, then cane back to Oxford via Bicester where I stopped off to collect 500 buttons I had bought via Facebook. By the time I got back all I wanted was to go to bed in the dark. Got DGd into bed, read her a story then let her play games on the old phone for a while. I went to bed and BF took over. Telling her when her time was up.
Today was an easier day, still sluggish to start but by 8.15 I was at the kitchen table finishing off the bibs that were cut out last week. 35 in all now just waiting on the poppers.
Then I've had a go at Appliqu! a cupcake on a t shirt and tasseling it before lunch. After lunch dgD and I went across to the park near the village where there is a zip wire . She made some new friends which made it easier for me. I read a bit before we came back.
Going to do pork chops with peppers, tomatoes and onions and potatoes for tea. Unless anyone wants just salad with them.
It's been a really hot day here. Wish we could dive into the neighbours swimming pool! Looks so inviting from the bedroom window! We don't even have a paddling pool as the other was faulty and Asda ran out if replacements.
Sitting on the garden swing hoping for a breeze!

Twin2 rang me this morning expecting me to take her to Silverstone. Apparently she had been going with someone yesterday but they didn't turn up to collect her. I explained that I was in Oxford and couldn't help her. To try and see if anyone else can help her for a change.
Been sewing this morning doing some repairs to the rugs of all things. It's trying to rain but not succeeded so far. Then it's going to be time to go food shopping. The week has flown by.
