Very good point, noelphobic.
Weight Watchers has never lied in advertising campaigns (that I am aware of) to get anyone to join, if anything, the first free meeting encourages people to decide if it's something they would like to try.
A quick note: I have just been for a jog (only a short one as I haven't done any exercise other than walking in a while), and I decided I would track it on my activity points mainly because I was curious as to how many points I had 'earned'.
I was pretty shocked to find that jogging earned me the same amount of points as walking! I walk for about 30 minutes a day (more if I don't have work) and each 10 minutes I walk earns me 1AP, I have just found out that 10 minutes of jogging is also 1 point (20 mins-2AP's etc).
This doesn't seem right does it?
If someone can make some sense of this please let me know!
Cheers
its what is on the tracker although when I did ww last year you got more points for jogging. Not sure why!
Gosh finding it sooooooooooooooooo hard today.... Have just had some tinned peaches and a large glass of water. Goign to also do a whole load of office cleaning to keep me busy!
WI yesterday and I had, in fact, put on the 3lbs I had lost in the previous 2 weeks. To be fair I was amazed that I had lost them as they weren't deserved. But very annoying and am determined this week to stick to it. Finding it hard right now....
thought I'd come on for some moral xDF as at 30/12/16

I am going to get back on it though.

Chin up, people.
I know it's tough when you have a setback, believe me.
But there's an attitude which I'm getting better at adopting: When you drop your phone, you pick it up and carry on using it (unless it's an iPhone).
In other words, if you have a crap day, don't think 'well I may as well be bad all week now', get right back on the wagon.
That's what I'm going to try and do from now on anyway
I am going up to my boyfriend's house this weekend and we are going out for a few drinks tomorrow night.
I find it very difficult to track when I'm not at home but I've saved all my weeklies and earned about 15 AP's this week (although I'd prefer not to use them).
So even though I won't be able to track anywhere near as meticulously (I have a BlackBerry so don't have the WW App), I'm hoping that I have left enough wiggle room to treat myself and stay near enough within my points.
Does anyone have any advice?
I'm going to drink vodka and diet coke tomorrow night because I know that's better than beer...
But my boyfriend's mum is cooking Sunday Roast while I'm up there and don't know how I'm going to stay sensible without looking rude (she doesn't really like me as it is, lol).
Any tips would be fantastic

Relouis the only thing i would say about a roast is fill up on the veg, we went for a carvery a few weeks ago i had meat a few boiled potatoes lots of veg and gravy, i left off the stuffing and yorkshire pud, i still enjoyed it though.

I made spaghetti bolognese this evening a recipe from the ww website and at 9 points it was delicious, much nicer than using a jar and really filling too.ITV comp winner no 410

Hello all, I must pop in here more often, I get updates daily but get easily distracted when I read emails on my tablet! I hope everyone who is struggling starts to feel better about everything soon, chin up and keep at it; even if you're cheating every now and then, or if you're doing everything right but not seeing results, your health will have improved a lot.
I weighed in this morning (Saturday) and was thrilled to see that I had lost another 2.5 lbs! I haven't felt deprived at all (I had a Papa John's pizza on Sunday, but it was pointed and a small instead of my usual medium!) and was even able to have a few beers on Friday night without it affecting the weigh in so I'm starting to see it as more of a way of life than a diet now.
Ooh I was in Poundland today and picked up loads of WW stuff: choccie bars, cheddar type things, crackers and bagels. There were soups and cakes too but I'm not a fan of these.
Ooh thanks to the kind person who recommended lighter puff pastry, I was using up what was in the freezer on this occasion but will definitely get that in the future!0 -
Well done faybee :T
I'm a bit apprehensive about my weigh in on Monday, i don't know why maybe it's because i'm expecting a stay the same or even a gain
I know one thing though my clothes are getting looser :j so it can't be all badITV comp winner no 410 -
Hi everyone. Had my weigh in this morning and I've lost 5lb this week! So excited something is working. I've mostly been eating clean this week but I did have some bacon, a homemade Cornish pasty and about five chocolates. So pleased we can have treats and eat pretty normally and still lose weight.
I haven't been tracking my walk to work as AP - should I be? I've only been counting the treadmill!Sealed Pot Challenge 2013 #1947 (open the pot on 28th November 2013!)

Morning everyone! I have been reading but not posting this week, having been sulking since WI last Monday.....I'd exercised lots the week before, been within points and only lost half a measly pound......so I've been sulking all week and not pointing
BUT, I've just weighed myself (ahead of the official WI tomorrow) and I'v stayed the same which is good and I'm ready to get back on the wagon today and continue on my weight loss way!
I have a squash to make into point free soup later, and I have my journal from when I started WW the last time, so thought I might have a look and see what I was eating then for some other ideas for 'good' weeks. Planning on going for a swim twice this coming week - last week my daughter was home poorly so I didn't go, and I ended up nibbling a bit as we were stuck indoors so long!
Right, very well done to this weeks losers :T I won't stay away this week, MUST stay on track, MUST stay on track.....I haven't been my current weight for five years, actually more like five and a half, before I was pregnant with my youngest!!! Focus woman, focus!!!0
