    Evening all,

Well, I have ben fighting disappointment all day as I only lost half a pound this week!!! A loss is still a loss though, and having had lunch out with my mum today, I am back on the wagon in the morning!! (John Lewis for lunch, Dad pays, and I had lasagne as my kids don't like it so I don't get it very often, with roasted veg.....yummy!! )

Well done to the losers, and good luck to those WI this evening xx

  • Yes, i just posted a thread about it. Its not anything i dont know already... Never touch the stuff, never will... Cooking from scratch so you know whats in you food, which is far cheaper, more nutricious and a better way to loose weight and keep it off. Along with exercise... not rocket science, but many people just dont get it..
  • Hi all,
If anyone saw my previous post, I had my 3rd weigh-in tonight and had been a bit disappointed because I've been very well behaved and only lost a total of 2lbs in my first 2 weeks.
However, my determination to stick with it has paid off...
    I lost 4lbs this week! :D
Very happy indeed, and even that c4 documentary didn't put me off because I know that if you WANT to stick with it and lose weight, YOU WILL!
Only 1lb away from my first silver 7! :D

  • Well done all losers :D

I did my WI this morning and I lost 2lbs this week :j I so pleased with this as it's TOTM and it's been a bit of an emotional weekend as I dumped the guy I was dating.

However I may have just blown my loss as I had Dominos pizza for tea :o I only ate half and it was actually in my points for today as I only had fruit for breakfast and couscous for lunch.

Hi all, a lurker with a question.

YAY - I have lost 10lb (ish - tho i was dressed when i weighed myself 1st time and recently weighed in the nude lol) since I signed up at the end of December.

just wondering if anyone here signed up via nectar.

I KNOW that when I signed up on the the 31st December they were running double points (2,000 instead of 1,000) when you sign up online.

They have eventually issued me with 1,000 points and are denying the double points was on.

I have found a cached paged which proves it was running at the beginning of January but cleverly it doesn't have a start date.
Just wondering if anyone knows where I can find firm documented evidence??
    thanks.
Hi congratulations on your weightloss :T:T
I don't know the answer to your question i'm afraid though :o

Well done all you losers :T

I've weighed in this morning with a STS but I'm ok with that after going out for a curry and rather a lot of wine at the weekend :o It was a post Christmas night out with the girls from Zumba so had been planned for weeks and I did enjoy it :) apart from falling in the snow going home!! Do I get AP's for that :rotfl:

Going to try the F&H plan this week to see how that goes.....

I got weighed on Saturday. I had only lost half a pound but it wasn't the best of weeks and it could have been worse.

I did watch the C4 programme but there wasn't anything in there that I didn't know and don't really understand why people who don't normally post on this thread felt that they needed to. I am sure that a very similar programme could just as easily have been made about Slimming World or Lighter Life. I can and have lost weight on my own in the past but it's my choice to go to WW at the moment.
3 stone down, 3 more to go
  • Very good point, noelphobic.
Weight Watchers has never lied in advertising campaigns (that I am aware of) to get anyone to join, if anything, the first free meeting encourages people to decide if it's something they would like to try.

A quick note: I have just been for a jog (only a short one as I haven't done any exercise other than walking in a while), and I decided I would track it on my activity points mainly because I was curious as to how many points I had 'earned'.
I was pretty shocked to find that jogging earned me the same amount of points as walking! I walk for about 30 minutes a day (more if I don't have work) and each 10 minutes I walk earns me 1AP, I have just found out that 10 minutes of jogging is also 1 point (20 mins-2AP's etc).
This doesn't seem right does it? :/
If someone can make some sense of this please let me know!
    Cheers
    :)
