  • Just weighed in.
Didn`t last week, due to snow & haven`t been to gym all week for similar reason - dont want my mother leaving her home to walk on icey pavements to come & cook tea for my son!

So 2 weeks gone & only half a pound on!

Not great, but better than expected!

Congrats to all those doing better than me!

    Think I need some :j

Bit fed up i'm full of a cold and still have 10 points left, i really don't feel like eating and i don't like milky drinks or hot chocolate. Think i will have to leave it for today and hope it doesn't affect my weight loss.

  • Ah man for the last 2 days I've literally had to force myself to sit on my hands to stop myself eating!!! :rotfl: It's TOTM and I've really wanted chocolate. I asked my colleague to get me some chocolate buttons from shop, and he came back with the giant size pack instead of the 5PPS normal one! But I've rationed it and locked the bag in the petty cash tin so I couldn't eat it all!! :rotfl:It's also been food shop time but due to the bad weather I had to go a few days later than planned so ran out of a few bits.

But I've only gone over points one day, by 10, which will come out of my weeklies. I'm out for lunch today so was saving my weeklies for that but should be fine. Just hope I had some sort of loss on Monday despite the TOTM!

Hope you are all doing well, and well done losers :D

I discovered that my craving is carbs, usually bread.
So when its due, I meal plan to include some form of carbs.

Maybe you could include chocolate in the form of low chocolate mousses, only about 2 points or the WW bars.

Woohoo! Weighed in this morning and I've lost 2.5lbs!That brings my total for this year to 4lbs and takes me under 11stone! I was a bit worried this week as I'd worked from home a couple of days which meant I hadn't really moved on those days and I had an essay due in on Thursday so was sitting typing most nights and I had a chippy dinner last night and shoved a massive handful of cinema popcorn in my mouth the other day without thinking about it! I have been doing my exercise apps though and I halved a lion bar and ate it over 2 days which would be unheard of a year ago!

I was quite proud earlier this week as I have a favourite pie that I make with puff pastry, mushrooms, veggie steak and ale. Usually I use a whole block of pastry between two of us and serve with creamy mash and veg, but this week I had a quarter of the usual amount of pastry with none on the bottom and increased the filling instead. I measured out the ale used and didn't finish the bottle while cooking and served with cauliflower and spring greens instead of mash. I dread to think how many points were in the old version!
  • Oh god I know how you all feel with the cravings!!

Mine seems to be both carbs & chocolate - mmmmmmmmmm

I don't have any right now - thankfully

    I weighed this morning & lost 2.5lbs!!

Yay - total loss 2.5lbs - plenty more to go.

I don't know which pastry you use, but Sainsburys do a lighter puff pastry in the chilled section.

Dollyrocker, well done!! You're off!!! :T

Chicken tikka salad for me in a bit, then as Dh has taken number one son to a swim gala, I may do my dvd once I've got the other two to bed.....sad, but DH has been away this week with work, and he commented on how he can see a difference in me, body and face....so I figure it won't hurt and it's only 20 mins!! Then I can have a nice bath before the Ken Follet programme at 9.

Oh, and I'm sure you know this already, but in case you don't (I'd forgotten until I was shopping yesterday) Tesco lighter choices foods have the propoints on the packaging. And their lemon drizzle slices are amazing, and only 2 points each!!

I know! Thanks hun. Luckily (in a way)I'm on quite a lot of daily PPs (44) so I can have proper chocolate, as the WW/LF stuff doesn't hit the spot when I'm hormonal. Starting to pass now. Been out for food today, and have only used 6 weeklies (so 16 in total for week) so have wiggle room if I get peckish later.
