    Oooooh I like this thread :D

    I've been using a notepad and diary for just over a year now on and off, it's a jumbled mess but it makes sense to me haha. On a Sunday I do a meal plan for the week then write the shopping list underneath it (then tick them off individually as I've added it to my shopping list online or on a seperate sheet of paper if going to the shop) then overleaf...... I fill in what needs to be done the next day, household chores, work times, what bills need to be paid, small shopping list if needs be if going into town, Birthdays/anniversaries, and carry on everyday for that week.

    I purchased a lovely Paperchase Notebook which I didn't want to sit going un-used and this is what I did with it. I also have a page a day diary that I use for thoughts, present ideas and then a diary in my bag that is mainly for work appointments/hours but on the bottom is a 'notes' area which I use for MOT/insurance/birthdays/ideas etc. And I'm absolutely hopelessy anal about ticking stuff off :o

    I daren't look at the links :rotfl::o:rotfl:

    Ohh i have a ton of notebooks jotted around but really not sure i would manage to actually be bothered to fill out the pages in advance. I'm more of a think of a ton of jobs to do in one day type so make a 'to do' list instead.
    Thinking if i could preplan and manage a diary like this or if it would sit there doing nothing lol
    It's remebering to put the appointments ect in the book in the first place thats the problem!

    Love the printables especially mommytracked, I think next year I'll print off those instead of buying the mums organiser calendar I usually get, I could peg the sheets on a clipboard on the wall.

    I've been thinking about changing some of our usual meals because hubby needs to lower his cholesterol so I've started a 2 week menu, I need to think of more meals. :/

    My lists have evolved over about 8 years, each one came about as the solution to a problem I was having then became routine. I don't think I could have planned them. Different things work for different people, I like the rolling to do lists on old cards so I can do the symbolic binning each day. :D

    I bought a a day per page diary in the Next sale, it has a clear plastic cover and on the back page it has a ziplok so great for keeping vouchers, receipts etc and after reading this thread Im going to use it every day. At the top ive written our dinner for the day, then ive written outgoings and at the very bottom of the page is has a box so in that Ive written appointments, sons diving lessons, gcse exam dates. thanks for this great idea. Oh and Ive also written things to be done around the house, Im hoping crossing them off will make me feel like I have achieved something !
