Hi rising, wondering which one you went for in the end -- Amazon or ebay? They both look nice to me... I didn't realise you could get conference folders in A5 size!SPC 0930

Went for this one in the end (found it a bit cheaper with a different seller so that was around £3 saved!)

You've just reminded me I bought something similar (A4 sized)years ago when DH was setting up a business. It's still around somewhere! But don't let me find it as I've bought the Staples Arc system and don't want to change it all nowMaking magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. SW, what do you think of it? I was umming and aaah-ing about it... how easy is it to open the rings and construct your own personalised 'book'?0 -
The rings don't open as they are solid. All the pages, dividers and even the covers just peel off the rings so to speak. I also bought bigger rings for mine as I knew my folder would grow and grow. Mine is totally customised with dividers, zip pockets, reminder notes as well as both lined and plain paper.
The one thing I will say is that you need a special punch if you want to add print-offs from a computer, and they aren't cheap

I was lucky that I bought my stuff when our local $taples closed down and everything was massively reduced. I couldn't have justified it otherwise but sadly there wasn't a punch at the time so I may have to save very hard for that.Making magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. Actually, if you zoom into the edge of this zip folder you can see how they clip onto the rings.

Sorry, I'm not making much sense - probably easier to visit the store than have me waffle on!!!Making magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.0 -
Thanks stitching witch, I get it now. I can see why it was a bargain, I did baulk at the price and went away to reconsider! Will continue to mull it over... it does look very smart though...0

I am loving this thread and have been following with interest. I too am a stationery fiend- it's nice to know I'm not alone :rotfl:
I was pondering the issues r.e printing costs and what I initially decided to do with my own designed Mon-Fri sheets was print a weeks worth off and pop them into plastic wallets and write on them in wipe off pen, like a white board then I would only have to print one set and I could reuse them however, I also wanted to keep them neatly in a folder and this was rubbing off the pen.
My new solution is that I am going to write on the plastic wallets in permanent marker as each wallet does two days, front and back and so 200 plastic wallets works out at a couple of quid- cheaper than printing out lots of sheets and I still get a fresh page of tailor made diary everyday :T
I also have a toiletry inventory, gift inventory, meal plan, recipe tracker (I rate new recipes out of ten for ease and taste and note where they came from so I know whether to repeat them) in my household management folder. I love it and I have never been so organised- everyone else thinks I am mad though!Comper, Blogger & OS-erCompetition prizes: £6/£20150
