I admit I've been lurking! I found a blog that does more work based (better for me) pages for diaries and I have actually printed them off and found them better than the teacher planner that I was making do with (I am not a teacher) http://philofaxy.blogspot.co.uk/p/diary-inserts.html?m=1
Maybe some of the options will be useful for you folks 😃0 -
So .... I've spent all morning [STRIKE]playing with [/STRIKE] refining ;)my sheets
I just can't find a weekly planner that suits me online ... I found one that "nearly" does and have been using that the past couple of weeks - and really like the way she's done it with different colours for different weeks ... may still have to do some more [STRIKE]playing [/STRIKE]refining!
Current one is this
I do like it - but it's going to use a fair bit of ink for the full year!:eek:Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
2016 Sell: £125/£250

Will have a hunt through office desk drawers as positive I've got some coloured paper somewhere (not huge amounts but a few sheets of several colours!)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

I'm going with a mix of spreadsheet and paper. For example, with the inventories I'm going to type in everything I can think of then add/delete once the first page is full/messy. I couldn't go only computer or only paper for most of the things I have. I think it's a shame that most of the printables aren't in Excel/Word so people can amend to suit themselves. If people like mine (if I ever get finished!) I'd be happy to share.
I've got a few pages now and ordered plastic dividers so just need a nice folder. I'm annoyed as I had the perfect one at work for a couple of years but chucked it becasue it "would never be used". I'm going to need a 4hole punch too. I think 4hole folders will be much sturdier.

One thing I did years ago is make a (very ) long list of all those extra chores around the house that are not done daily like mirrors or windows or pull out freezer or clean cutlery drawer. I then put it in the tasks app on my phone and assign it a repeat spacing each task out over the first few months so they don't all come at the same time then when I have completed the task it automatically flags up for next time around. It took some adjusting but now everything is covered and I just check the today tab. Jobs are done and ticked each day or they roll over so some weeks when I am busy I just do all the jobs still outstanding.
Wen you first set up make sure you break things into manageable chunks like windows top floor on one week then the next month windows bottom floor or even each month assign a window to be done. My mantra is if I do it it even once a year it is better than not getting done at all lolLiving the dream and retired in Cyprus :j

Week to a page diary covers birthdays outings meals telephone calls to be made or emails to remember to do. Reminders for other people I jot in so my brain can rest rather than keep trying to remember what I was going to ask someone.
Inside front cover I have clipped a hand written freezer inventory that I add to or cross of as used so I know what I have in the way of meals at any time when I am in supermarket and I find bargains to add to what I have already.
On the notes pages I have meter readings monthly
Each month I look forward and list birthday cards and gifts etc to be purchased for the following month again I have this task on the reminder app.Living the dream and retired in Cyprus :j
