Well after trying out my A4 notepad for over 2 weeks I have decided that the page a day diary is a much better idea and so intend to buy one of those instead.
Even though it only ever stayed at home even just lugging it around the house was too much of a pain in the backside. So am looking forward to finding a nice page a day.13 projects in 2013 0/130 -

May I just say that discovering this thread feels like I have discovered utopia! Perhaps it's the teacher in me but I am inspired to go away and create my own organisational piece of heaven.
I have an all singing all dancing spreadsheet but was struggling with a days to day system. Thank you for all the fabulous ideas in this thread.44 day challenge

Okay - so I am up and about with time to spend on creating my all singing all dancing home organising file! In the meantime you have inspired me to use an A5 diary (it will fit into my handbag) and I have used the suggestion re filofax credit card holder it is now stuck in the back of the A5 diary with the vouchers lodged inside. My first step today will be to create some A5 sheets to stick over those useful pages that diaries always have to track spending - I often forget to ask for receipts (although this diary now has an envelope stuck in the front for said paperwork) and forget little amounts by the time I get home. Wish me luck!44 day challenge
